    I was able to watch Jennifer on the opening weekend of the 2024 Scotties in Calgary and it was such a thrill. Watching her interact with her team, the encouragement and patience, the experience clearly oozing. What an amazing woman on top of being an amazing athlete. Wishing you nothing but the best in all your future endeavours and looking forward to what brings you back into our world!

    Wow! What a tear jerker interview that was! Congratulations to Jen Jones on all of her past curling accolades, and I wish her, all the best in her final Scotties. I am sure this is not the last of Jen Jones in the sport of curling. She loves the game too much, to walk away from it completely. Looking forward to what the future holds for Jennifer in the sport of curling.🤙🥌🇨🇦

    The GOAT of women's curling in Canada. A well deserved retirement for you Jenn. Thank you for all the great memories over the years. That shot at the '05 Scotties told me right away that there was a LEGEND in the making.
    It would be awesome to see you in the broadcast booth covering curling events in the future.

    All the best with your future Jenn and thank you for the memories🙏🥌👍😊🥌

    Why is Jen Jones retiring before the 2026 Olympics? Does this mean she has no interest in representing Canada at the 2026 Olympics in Italy? What happens if Jen Jones wins the Scotties does this mean she won't play the 2025 Roar of the Rings?

    • @staceyleeper1380
      @staceyleeper1380 3 месяца назад

      I'm surprised too but she had a great run.

      @@staceyleeper1380 This makes me wonder what would happen if Jen Jones were to win the 2024 Scotties, would she return for the 2025 Roar of the Rings in Halifax in November 2025? Seems unfair that Jen Jones replacement gains direct entry for the 2025 Roar of the Rings without having to play a single game and benefitted of off Jen Jones retirement. I say if Jen Jones retires that here team be made ineligible to compete at the 2025 Roar of the Rings because it would be a different team in 2025 than the team that won the Scotties in 2024.
