    First time at a live curling event , can’t even explain it. Watching this fierceness in person and Canada taking home gold is something I’ll never forget . Fantastic experience and well done team homan!!

    It was an amazing final with two great teams. I always liked Rachel Homan but since becoming a mother she has opened up a little more to the fans and it is wonderful to see.

    🥳 That split shot on last rock in the 9th to get 3 really won it for them. I remember the commentators saying it was risky, but I'm so glad they went for it. What a great match!

      That move was a basic Canadian move used at all levels of curling here! To see her win the game with it was glorious!

    Been watching curling since Ron Northcott '68 and this is perhaps the best team to come out of Canada since the Richardson's early 60's. Congrates Homan et al. Exceptional performance.

    I bit off all of my nails, the fans were quiet and nervous, the tension, then magnificent winning shot by Rachel in 9th... ! Cant ask for more drama in a sport

    Canada, Switzerland and Korea was ranked 1, 2 and 3 in the world rankings going into the tournament and Canada, Switzerland and Korea are still ranked 1, 2 and 3 coming out of the tournament. World Rankings predicted who would win the World Women Curling Championship.

      So I guess I if you were betting on the matches you would not have gotten very good odds . Other than that who cares . Or are you implying this is all fixed . Other than that the matches were great entertainment .

    Great final!
    Curling at its best!
    Patez playing at 100% made great hit and roll & freeze to generate the deuce out of nowhere in early ends.
    Then Homan weathering the storm came up with that split for 3 in the 9th for a late-surge comeback!

      Patez was very sour after her loss. She would not smile for pictures or when she was receiving her silver medal. With that attitude I will never cheer for her again. The korean team was all smiles andproud of their bronze medals.

    The Swiss streak ends at four. Quite a reign. But Homan’s team this year has been unbelievable, if not unbeatable.

      The swiss woman curling teams have been playing amazingly the last decade 🇨🇭 Canada needed some top plays to beat them

    wow! Quel match excitant qui m'a tenu sur le bout de mon siège jusqu'à la fin. J'ai crains qu'équipe Homan craque sous la pression mais non, les ont sorti leurs meilleurs coups pour la fin, juste génial. On sentais dans ce tournoi que Rachel Homan étais en mission, au 9e bout elle aurais juste pu se contenter de 2 pts mais non elle en voulais plus, ce 3 pts étais un petit bijou signé Homan. Elle viens de prouver encore une fois qu'elle es la meilleure au monde Bravo! Un tournoi exceptionnel. Félicitations les filles, nous sommes fier de vous! 👏♥🍁

    Wow! My wife and I followed the entire series.
    We couldn't watch this final game, because Shaw decided to put the final on a different channel from what we'd been watching onto a channel we don't get-thanks Shaw!
    Great game from the highlights, and to think Holman just gave birth 6 months ago.

    Very interesting highlight pack. In the 8th they made it seem like a good thing for the Swiss that they drew for one. In fact it was a huge force for Canada. When Homan threw her last in the 10th the game was basically over. Great win Team Canada! Highlight package could have been better.

    With this win Homan ties Jen Jones record of 2 world championship won. So if Homan can have a repeat performance next year she will break Jen Jones world championship record and move one step closer to being the GOAT over Jen Jones.

      @@markd8469 2 billion people watch the Olympics, but not all 2 billion watches curling as Olympics is more than just curling. Also there are other sports taking place at the same time curling is anyways and most if not all of the 2 billion will be watching other sports besides curling.

    The abuse of it's customers by TSN makes me want to vomit - followed the tourney all week until the playoffs which were relegated to TSN3 - shameful 'performance'.

    I’m gonna admit the old “Team Homan” used to crack under pressure. This team just thrives on it !!
    Is this the best Canadian team ever?
    Could Be! Team Jones with Dawn, Jill, Kaitlin & Jen Could make it a good argument as best Canadian team ever. Rachel just needs to win an Olympic Gold medal. So I give the nod to Team Jones having won one

    Rachel Homan "Rocks" and her team with Emma, Tracy and Sarah were all really good throughout the whole tournament and winning the gold medal was amazing, Rachel Homan is an Aries a natural born leader, way to go team Canada.
