You’d think that the people looking for skin care solutions would come across real professionals like you in their algorithm but clearly that’s not the case

I used night and day, for months and months, the ordinary's serum which is 5% caffeine which is huge and a lot more concentrated than coffee, + it also has a small amount of egcg which is green tea extract, and it did NOTHING to my dark, purple, pigmented dark circles that I've had since I was a kid. Caffeine has a slight toning effect for eye bags, that's IT. It will not brighten dark circles, you'll need brightening agents for that (concentrated vitamin c, arbutin, etc). Using actual coffee or tea is even less effective + it just stains the area.
Actually I was able to get rid of mine, with Vichy wich also made a serum and cream with caffeine. What works for your skin, might not work with mine and vis versa. Thanks God they are plenty of things out there to try on. I also had mine since I was born, but start to become "bother" by them in my 30s. In a way I don't think it was such a good thing. I feel I lost my innoncence and starting to focus on things that don't matter that much. 😶... yeah... Nope ! Still gonna litteraly watch my face. 🤷 😇😇😇😇

I never do these things. But I get it it’s fun try hacks. For derms it’s nice for them to explain the reason why not to.

I once did this and not only did i get micro tears but also i turned out to be allergic and had many red dots all over my face.

@@oceaneo4603 the effect may be due to the chlorella extract in it which targets dark circles. i ll definitely give this serum a try!
