You can never eliminate shrink.
You can't lower shrink if you are hiding in the manager's office.
This is way off. You need to be addressing the actual CEO's and real decision makers of business and corporations. I would bet 80% of the people sitting in that room are given direction on how they will run the business. Each company has a strategy and cohesion that all of the stores locations will run the same way. This is not the wild west where each person manages how they will make money and be profitable. A business is a plan to follow. You follow the plan you are profitable.

I love people who comment to hear themselves talk. At this session the CEO & Presidents where in attendance. They have structure and strategy but also want managers to "understand" and "think" so that when "the plan" fails to produce at the local level, the manager knows what to do. Kudos to these decision makers who are investing in their managers.
