Hotel rooms are ridiculously exorbitantly priced in Ghana and especially in Accra. They should lower the price to half and less and gain more traffic and patronage
Greetings Vanessa Kanbi, Thank you so much for sharing your families Ghanaian vacation, you guys surely had an awesome time. I agree with you that animals shouldn't be put on display in any form or fashion, but rather be released or allowed to live in their own environment.
Curious what your plan is? A home in Ghana and a home in Scotland? Which would be your primary residence? I am planning something similar but you're ahead of me in the process lol
Hi Vanessa I bought land in Aburi many many years ago, before i came to live permanently. I am older than u and i find it boring! There is not much to do up here, especially if u have children. Slowly there are more hotels being built up here where u can swim or there is Aburi Gardens. The boredom has forced me to build my own pool for enjoyment. Think carefully before u build or buy land up here. Its actually nice if its ur holiday home or a second home but to live permanently, nah I think u will later regret it. The bonus is the tranquility, no mosquitoes and plenty of greenery ❤️
@@Besteve1 Hi Eve, of course many people are living here. I do and i love my environment. All i am saying is i find it boring up here becos there is not much to do. We are semi rural so the pace of life is much slower. I am thinking of Vanessa with young children, that's all. I hadn't heard about sis Rita. May her soul rest in peace. By the wayside i have been to the Marley residence on a few occasions. Unfortunately none of the family visit there and its not lived in
We currently live in Accra but bought land in Aburi years ago, plan to start build later this year. But I worry about living there, it’s really quiet for kids and the good international schools are in Accra. I plan to look into Beacon International school, which is close to Peduase.
@@sya2693 you can be in the aburi while your kids will be in the boarding house in Accra. They will only come home when they are in vacation and holidays. They will get use to the environment and also have many friends also in the city and that is even the best. I experience the same thing when I was a kid. Thanks for the tour Vanessa, family & I got to go there 2 years ago for my cousins wedding and New Year had an amazing time. And your right the food was amazing I was left bloated 😂 I’d definitely recommend 👍🏾👌🏾🇬🇭
Ness good morning to you from Vienna, please please don't buy any land around the peduase area, there's a court case at the moment going on. We purchased a land 30 years ago (7 ace's land) and some crazy woman including her family wants to take the land from me. Please make sure you get more information about what ever land you are buying around aburi please please.
Nice one. Wishing you all the best. Is good to take your time in the land search but please not too long. Lands there are hot cake. The next time you go the price would have gone high.
i loved, living in Aburi as a child, and loved to catch crabs, and chase the goats down from the church to the cemetery, every sunday! i learned how to make a sling shot with a pen cover or top and a plastic straw with a rubber band, at the age of 5, from the other kids in Aburi! Also i thought i saw a lion ones in the bushes in ghana, but my older brother says i was probably day dreaming, because he doesn't believe that i saw one lol
Wow!!! That place use to our hunting grounds when we were kids😂😂 really happy to see how the place has been transformed into this beautiful hotel. Would definitely visit there when I go back home.✌️
Beautiful place. Cooler temperatures and fewer mosquitoes are definitely a plus. I must say the zoo left me a bit confused. Was that a dog in a cage? Maybe I misunderstood the situation though.

Amazing informative channel, the hotel is nice but I'm extremely disappointed with the hotel management. You tried your possible best whilst in Edinburgh to make online bookings which failed due to their negligence, the fees you paid for two nights was expensive. The management should accept responsibility for their failure and offer price reduction.
