Love it! Would you do any tutorial for latinas? dark hair, light-medium skin. Would love it. There is not good tutorials out there that address latinas without being over done :)
My FAVORITE videos are when you do the makeup on yourself. I learn so much more watching how you get yourself looking alive & awake!! You are truly so beautiful Monika thank you for these tips!!
you are so beautiful ! i love seeing you videos in the morning, you give me so much inspirasion. i go to a makeup and stylist school in norway. and i learn so much just from watching your videos. thank you for shearing you tips and trix. i wonder, i see you dont use so much powder. but how do you keep the makeup to hold all day ? and can you do a makeup for photoshoot ? love your work, and you 😍😍🌸🌸 and we were talking about you at school, how good you are and looking at you work. kisses from norway, stavanger :*
I've watched you for a while but this video, well it just spoke to me on so many levels. I seem to share with you more than just my first name and it's spelling, but everything you said here, about concealer, mascara on bottom lashes, hooded eyes, effectively it's all me, yet I keep trying to find makeup that will not age me, look natural and refreshing and so I give myself into the hands of makeup artists that are half my age and result in looking twice my age, could you please share how to choose the right foundation and concealer, what to look for in terms of consistency and colour? Really sorry to take your time, but this is something I keep trying and not getting it right, and quite simply finding the mistakes too expensive and shocking results, hope you can guide me, love Monika x
Monika- what an awesome tutorial! I am a middle-aged woman, and have found that the makeup we wear at 25 is not the makeup we should wear at 45 :) I loved the light application you did with the products!
Hi Monica, I'm watching this at 11:45 p.m. and my alarm will be going off at 4:45 a.m for work...I think I will need this in the morning. Thanks for sharing!
You can have hooded eyes and still see some lid. It's just a different degree of hood. If you're someone who puts a shade in your crease and it disappears when you open your eye and all you see is hood, you have a degree of hooded eye. So it's important to place a "crease" shade above the crease and to use a transition shade above the crease to create the illusion the crease is higher. There are different levels of hooded eyes and deepset eyes as well. :)
I feel that i can due everything in this video because you explain it so perfectly and keep it simple. Thanks for the tips because we go thru different phases in our face so it is nice to see you being so real. Your skin is so beautiful!!!!!! MAC tends to break me out, have you tried the Glossier face tint?
That is exactly why I like doing tutorials like this one because I want all of you to be able to duplicate what I am doing.... bummer that Mac breaks you out, I have not tried the Glossier but will get it.... thanks for watching xoxo Monika
Love your videos! You have such a classic and elegant style and you really know how to work with different face types. Can you please do a video(s) with Indian/Pakistani models? I'd love to see how you work with models that have yellower undertones.
My goodness do I need this! I have a 3 year old with tonsillitis and a 4 month old with a bad case of chicken pox. Sleep is a distant memory 😴😴😴 Thank you Monika! Xxx
I'll die hating the way Mac face and body smells. I just cant!! I actually bought it twice but gave up because of the nasty fragrance. It does give a beautiful glow tho.
I see these girls putting makeup on & I'm literally SCREAMING NOOOOO!!! Too much foundation, too much of everything & then they spend a crap load of money for skincare. Yup lol that's the way to go. 🤣😅😂😆 the point of makeup is to enhance your look & and to look awake not to smear pounds of foundation & bronzer all over the face. This look is beautiful & easy & very well put together.
Hello, I'm Isabel and I'm from Portugal. I love your videos.. I have 49 years without wrinkles, just a few lines around the eyes and this make-up is fantastic! Thank you! A hug from Portugal!
I have both MAC face and body and Bobbi Brown corrector so I’m happy to see you use them. Do you prefer the creamier concealers? Is there any liquid ones you recommend? If I wear a foundation that’s like face and body I don’t use a liquid concealer because I don’t think they mesh well together. Do you agree? Thanks this was helpful.
Hi Monica, great channel! I am learning a lot. Can you please explain how you use Paula Dorf Enhancer Baby Eyes Eye Liner? I bought a similar one (tarte Fake Awake Eyeliner), but when I place it on the waterline, it looks like chalk. I assume there is a trick to apply it well, and if you can share it, I would appreciate it.
Hi Monica, I find my foundation often looks dull... I apply with a brush or beauty blender. Do you think using your fingers makes it look a bit fresher/brighter?
Hi Monica. I find when I apply my foundation alot of the time it makes the dark circles under my eyes stand out more (I'm not putting the foundation under my eyes as they are quite baggy as I'm 55). Do you have a tip at all . Love your Channel.
beautiful look monica.. Id really love to try the Charlotte Tilbury powder we can only buy online in Australia so i have no idea which shade what would be your suggestion. I wear Chanel foundation in shade 50 and 40 in the winter..
Monica, I always love your tutorials. They are so beautiful and natural. One thing I must say to you about the Vaseline eye drops, my eye Doctor cautioned me about these drops. They do more harm to your eyes than good good. I so enjoy your tutorials and learn so much from them. Thank you!
Hi monika - excellent video as always. I'm curious to try some Utowa brushes, do you enjoy the quality? The price point looks excellent compared to some other higher priced Japanese brushes (like hakuhodo and chikuhodo), but I'm not sure if the quality compares. Thank you! 😊
Very nice fresh , I like it a lot... Iam so sad, cream blush is just not for me, I have pigmentation on my cheaks, and if I blend the blush, the makeup is gone...
I love your videos when you are the model! You are so beautiful. Please make more where you do your own makeup and list all the products and colors you use. What are your personal favorite foundations and the exact color you use? Thank you!
I AM SO HAPPY I HAPPENED TO BE READING A FEW OF THE COMMENTS ON THE LAST LISA E VIDEO I WATCHED OR I MAY NEVER HAVE FOUND YOUR CHANNEL AND THIS WAS WONDERFUL AND JUST THE LOOK I HAVE BEEN STRIVING FOR IN MY DAY TO DAY WORK AND EVEN WEEKEND CASUUAL LIFE. IT LOOKS SO FRESH AND NATURAL WHILE STILL ACHIEVING THAT BEAUTIFULLY PULLED TOGETHER AND READY TOT AKE ON THE DAY LOOK. GREAT VIDEO, CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MORE! TAKE CARE, PEACE AND LOVE XO
I love your videos.....I can relate to the fact that you don't wear eyeshadow.I have deepest eyes too and eye shadows do nothing for me, I marvelat all these eyeshadow palettes.
Great tutorial!!! I would love more like this!! day makeup! Pixiwoo did a GREAT GREAT tutorial on 4 different looks that one should master and i loved it. It was easy (not that easy for me! lol) i would love to see your version!
I love this simple yet beautiful look! I also love your blouse, would you kindly share where it is from? Thanks! ETA: Will also check Shiseido concealer, I think Shiseido makes some of the best makeup but underrated.
Your skin looks absolutely great, on it's own. Can you give tips and trick how to achive this? I mean a skincare video would be really great. The look is very simple yet elegant, universally chic. Thanks for the video. Bests, Orsi
You're beautiful Monika! Loved this tutorial, I as well have deep set eyes so I loved the tip for applying eye make up. I'm definitely going to try this look. Thank you thank you Xx
Monika I love your videos! My question for you is how do you not powder the skin before putting a powder product over the foundation? Please tell me what the trick is. Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you Sarah, powder is such a personal thing, my skin is not oily and I can get away with hardly no powder, some people need more an some need less, it is really a personal decision and also in what kind of shape your skin is in, hope this is helpful xoxo Monika
Monica, I love your videos. I have a request for you. Can you do a video on how to cover marks like bruises, light veins, etc, on your legs so that it looks "natural"? Summer will be here soon and I would love to know how I can do this when wearing skirts - I don't do shorts! 🙂
Hi Bella, thanks and glad you love them....I use Mac Face and Body all over the body, it works great, if you have bruises and veins than you will have to use a concealer to cover that up, Bobbie Brown has great concealers for all skin colors and maybe you can go to Sephora and have someone help you pick the right color.... that is what I do on my clients before I send them out on the red carpet xoxo Monika
hi monica, i really enjoy watching your videos. it is so helpful and yor voice is so satisfying. i am litteraly waiting for your videos to upload. please make more!! greetings from Suriname, South America

What are you doing up Liza... go to bed and get your beauty sleep, lol xoxo Monika
Hey Monika, your eyes are deep set, not hooded, but good tip nonetheless. Loved this video!
I ment to say deep set eyes but I guess I messed up during filming, lol... this also works for hooded eyes btw.... xoxo Monika

Amanda Sarisky really? That's so good to hear! I haven't tried any of their products yet! Thanks I'll research it! 🙌
Hi Monika, great tutorial!
would you please make video/s (tutorials / recommendations) for the dry-skin ladies, from your experience?
Hi Monika, wir verwenden beinahe dieselben Produkte für uns selbst - wie lustig. Allen voran die F&B in C3 (im Winter C2) und den großartigen Bronzer von Victoria Beckham for EL!
