  • The moment you have all been waiting for!...The oil cooler went out, so we took a minute ( or a few days ) and got her fixed up and running again!

    I just did the same job this weekend and like you I suspect that the oil coolers were fine and that it was the seal that was leaking. But just to be safe I replaced the whole lot. I still have the oil coolers and perhaps I’ll get them pressure tested just to see. Provided it doesn’t cost to much. Anyway thanks for posting this. It’s such a lot of work that I couldn’t even imagine filming and getting cameras set up. But you did just that so thanks again

    Great video. I’m doing the same job right now to mine. I do wish you would’ve shown putting the oil coolers in though.

    So the oil cooler consist of 2 separate heat exchangers. Are they identical? Same part number?

      Yup they sure are. I just did the same job this past weekend.

    23:14 what sensor is that on the right side of the Exhaust Manifold? and 25:45 what sensor that on the exhaust pipe exiting the turbo?

    Yeah I guess this video is about proving you know how work on trucks..good job but it didn't do any good to me.

      I don’t think it was meant to be a step by step. But it’s pretty self explanatory if you’ve worked on you’re own truck.
