Will this knife work as a good pencil sharpener? My wife says that we need a new, solid pencil sharpener at home. Plus I can carry and use this pencil sharpener.
So glad you had success out of this knife. I just got mine was a starting to worry with "some" other videos that showed this thing failing easily. Obviously what you showing proves the knife is well made as a whole. Thanks
Just don’t baton with a folder and you won’t have issues. If you have no choice, disengage the lock and baton with the blade open 90°. That said, if you have no choice then your life isn’t going to good to begin with.
This will be my first benchmade. I've always been a spyderco buyer. Looking forward to this knife for Atv bushcraft riding and family camping. Thanks for the great review.
Thanks very much Stassa for the thorough and unique review. The detail you provided by showing us the cutting and stress tests is so helpful. Many other videos don't show the knife doing any cutting work. Great job.
Wow, Great video! It’s nice to see a review of someone actually using the knife, instead of someone giving their “full review after carrying it for a few weeks” and probably only using it to open mail.
Well dang it. I just found your channel yesterday, watched about 10 videos and I just bought this knife because of this video and being stuck between multiple knives. Good reviews man you do a good job and don’t really miss anything.
Enjoyed your review of this knife. It’s great to see someone actually use the knife. Instead of just telling me how thick it is how much it weighs what color it is. I also have this knife and Love it. I hope to see other reviews of you testing other knives especially Benchmade. That’s the brand I carry.
@@Stassa23 thank you sir. I have collected knives all of my 67 years. I like Benchmades because they will perform and hold up. That’s why I like you’re review. Thanks for the review. Just ordered one for myself for Christmas. Didn’t want a full size. Glad you took the time to sharpen the blade, I was wondering how difficult that was going to be.
You are DA MAN! Way to beat the snot out of that mini Adamas and bring it back to life. You did it so I could spare mine but it’s good to know mine could survive some hard use if necessary. Thanks man!
Great video! I got mine from a Benchmade Dealer, so I could Get A First production. I know there’s other hard use test on this knife. But I waited on your review. Definitely will be the first Benchmade I’ve bought in a looooong time. Nice setup on the spyderco sharpener.
Just bought one from REI for $185 to my door. They had a 20% coupon for members and free shipping. It's gonna be my first Benchmade, and I figured I'd go big or go home!
@@martinmiller1087 It's almost impossible to get a full sized cru-wear adamas unless you are willing to buy the half-serrated version or buy the Auto for over $300. Otherwise you are looking to the used market and people get into bidding wars.

That’s weird that yours is 18 thou behind the edge. I measured mine at around 30 thou on the flat and 40 thou at the tip
Yikes
Mine is 19 in the belly 27 at the tip.
You sure your measuring right behind the edge?
They CNC the blades so that big a variance would be odd
