I love this challenge idea, I have some tips for the run. Start befriending Caroline, at two hearts this unlocks the tea sapling recipe which is needed for both tea leaves and green tea. She likes daffodils and loves summer spangles. Plant the tea saplings as soon as you can because they take 20 days to grow and can only be harvested the last week of every season. Except winter, where the bushes only harvestable indoors. You can use the mixed seeds you get from completing the forage bundles to craft them or craft your own with forage. So each plant will give you 21 tea leaves a year unless they are indoors. So you will need a lot of bushes unfortunately. 96 bushes will get you enough for both the leaves and tea in three seasons. I'd recommend getting the materials for fishing ponds and a silo. The silo will allow you to save hay you scythe from the grass on your farm and the ponds for roe, aged roe, squid ink, and caviar. This is such a unique albeit very challenging idea. I love Stardew valley! It's great to see content that expands the game. I am excited to watch more in this series.
How about eating spring onions for energy until salmon berries become available? Also fishing for energy is quite good, because you are going to get more energy from the fish you catch (and eat) than you will need for casting the line. Great challenge idea!
I started this Challenge after seeing your first video, and am currently just into summer. I opted for blueberries, hot pepper and hops (for both themselves and for pale ale). One Challenge i've spotted so far is i think you can't get perfection, i don't think you can get enough gold for the golden clock with this rule set. Maybe with stuff like 3rd tier fertilizer on All crops, aging wine and cheese, maxing artisan/blacksmith/ranching professions, but not sure. For example is 1000 radioactive ore with Black smith only worth a over 1. 125 million gold
I'm kinda just making things up as I go. I haven't really thought much further than summer itself, but whatever challenge is thrown my way. I'm sure I'll find a way around it :)
This is an amazing challenge idea that really adds some difficulty to the base game. I can't wait to see more! P.S. You should plant your trellis crops in rows that are two wide to save space :)
Thank you for your support! I was considering doing normal profit margins as well. In early game it would probably be more difficult since crops cost more. The main reason I wanted to go with 25% profits is because house, tool and bag upgrades are more impactful, since they don't get scaled to 25% like seeds do
@@dovakingbling i find like 25% would be a lot more difficult if the price of seeds wasn't reduced tbh. i might try to do your challenge on normal margins! i wonder if it would be worth it to skip spring seeds and go straight to blueberries
@Audrey L I think it would probably be better just to go for blueberries, and selling items like wood and stone will give more money as well. It's a shame the seed prices are lowered, but there isn't anything in between, unfortunately. Good luck trying it out 👍
I never really considered fishing as a way to get energy, especially as you're using ~8 energy per cast to fish. But after looking into it, it seems like a pretty decent way to get energy 👍 Luckily I didn't end up needing it
I did actually get the axe last episode. I showed me accepting the quest, however I didn't show picking it up or handing it in due to trying to keep the video at a fast pace. But that 250g was well spent 👍

Can you not fish? I feel like a few chubs would solve your energy problems.
