The only thing I could say about your husband, is that he is a very lucky (and probably also talented) man. For to have a wife like you, is a privilege afforded to only a few gifted men. So he must deserve it, to the fullest extent.

Everything you said is so true. The men are not better than us, and we are not better than them. It is sad that so many people play games instead of expressing true feelings. People who want to date casually should state that. Just be honest so that each person can make an informed decision.

I haven't dated in such a long time. I'm 65 and I'm doing my homework before I get out there because I want to do it right this time. I was married divorced when my babies were little. I dated but these men were not right. I didn't want to subject my children to strangers so I stopped dating. I did go out but nothing serious. But now I'm ready to find my companion and see where it leads me to.
