Hi Levi. We three of us with other family heading to Cancun in March… maybe I shouldn’t, but I already watched some other RUclips videos about the horrible experiences with the flair airlines with multiple delays… strict luggage rules, I am fine with that. Will have to buy snack and drinks? That’s also fine too. But… delays are not good especially when we travel with a child… I was inquiring cancellation policy and there are fees, which is fine. But they don’t give you the remaining balance back to your original payment method. They keep the balance as credit for the next two years… and then the credits get expired… not sure about other airlines’ policies with cancellation…
That’s a tough call. There’s so many reasons why a flight may be delayed. I’m not sure if that’s entirely avoidable. It’s one of the big downsides of air travel. I hope that your travels will not be held up by delays!
Hey, how did your flight end up in the end? Looking to fly from Toronto to Cancun and not gonna lie I have read some of the reviews and I'm very apprehensive about Flair! Did it all go ok for you when heading to Cancun? Any other advice? Thanks
Did they weigh your personal item before you board? Or did they ask you to put your personal item into the sizer? The flights are so much cheaper than other airlines. Thanks for making this video.
If I remember correctly, I had to fit my bag into the sizer at boarding, but I did not personally have to weigh my bag. Some passengers may be asked to weigh their bags, I'd assume it's at the discretion of the staff. Thanks for watching, I hope it was helpful!
The first time I booked a flight using flair airlines got cancelled without any reason, and that traumatized me. I haven’t tried flair since then, but I’m still considering to book a flight. Hope it turns out well🤞🏻
I believe you have to buy it. My flight was so short, I didn’t even think about it at the time. I also carry a reusable water bottle with me everywhere, and I recommend doing that. You gotta empty it when going through security but you can refill after security.
they recommended me to arrive 2 hrs before. Because I was flying domestic, I was able to arrive 60 mins before the flight and everything still worked out okay.
I don’t recall the specifics, but I think you’d download the app, login with your account details and there should be check in functionality on there. There should be instructions on their website or something like that.
In Air Canada our flight to edmonton from Vancouver- we are informed that we are delayed for half an hour- until we are delayed for 12 hrs..they only give us 1 pop and a cookie.. hahaah.. and we slept in the airport - nice eh..

So do they have self check in kiosks at the airport to save you the $25 each person

That's an awful situation. Sorry to hear! It can be so hit-and-miss. Best of luck with your future travels though!
thanks for creating this video !
Do they sell water on board the flight or it is free?

@@Levisrad Thank you Levi.
How early you got to the airport from your flight departure time?

I was gouged $75 for a small laptop case. Flair Airlines Halifax. Never again.
@@chicovaillancourt7934 That’s extremely expensive for a little laptop case. Thanks for sharing your experience!
How do you check in with the app?

@@Levisrad ok thanks. I was able to download on my phone so hopefully electronic copy will suffice

They ask you for COVID test?
they did not at the time, but we had to wear masks while on the plane at that time. keep in mind these policies may change
