Back in the mid- seventies I thought I had a badass Sportster until I went up against a KZ in a street race. It was just plain embarrassing. I’ve had a lot of respect for those machines ever sense that night. Stat strong Gangster!

Hi Ronnie, I'm praying for you man. I went through stage 4 prostate cancer was clean, and now its coming back. I'm currently restoring my 89 Kosman GS championship pro street bike. I love the old school bikes. however the racing today ain't racing. Its all pushing a button, hell I'd love top see a rider shifting gears with their hands and feet, NOW THA'T RACING..Same goes for the cars.

I had a 78 KZ it ran high 9 low 10's 30ish years ago, heads up I wouldn't even think about it these days but in brackets maybe. But at what cost when I was running my alky dragster the GSXR's and R1's were capable of high 9's of the showroom floor makes it hard to justify the cost vs performance these days. Don't get me wrong I still love KZ's and harleys but in heads up racing I can't afford that shit now
