Your bike looks great. You have some good detail with chrome and rear sets. I miss the Star Pro Series pipes. I used to throw them out and get a new set for $395. Now, with more experience, I would have kept them and cleaned them up. Someone on Facebook has the rights to make the Star pipe, but it will cost you $1200. The cool thing about these old bikes is the attention you still get when you're out for a ride. Your carbs look like 34mm. What size pistons and cams are you running?
There is nothing on earth like the sound of a 70s KZ with 4 into 1 headers(preferablyKerker), nothing
That sound got me into motorbikes. I was 6 and a neighbour had a brand new ZR1 with a Kerker exhaust. I’m still hooked
I want one just like yours. My kz900 is in a quad we setup for drag racing. Sweet sounds!
