    For those of you who want to see the whole check-in process, you can watch Episode 37, where we check into Mexico: ruclips.net/video/ugraorjfD04/видео.html
    AND, if you want to know the exact cost and how much $$$ we paid to check in, check out the next episode.. At the very end of the video, we talk numbers, what was required, and exactly what we paid, watch it here: ruclips.net/video/lkw4jXBEY2A/видео.html

    Thanks, that was great. Please do follow ups on this for each country you visit. That will be much appreciated. I watch a couple other channels and I know the rules and regulations change frequently. You can see three different boats enter the same port and have drastically different results. Thanks. Cheers!

    I think these blog fillers are a very interesting format. I've recently been very busy and haven't had chance to watch a lot of subscriptions as the 20-30 minutes for each start to add up but these

      Thanks Paul, we started these for our patrons but make sure to put them out to all our youtube followers at some point. We agree, we love watching the other sailing vids but the length does start to add up.

    did I understood this right? You need to get visa in order to check the country after sailing there ? Is there like no document variant of this discussion? I am new to this, and do you really need visa in order to temporaraly like 4 days stay in that country?

      Varies by the country you are visiting and your citizenship, but for the most part, yes, you need a visa in order to visit most countries. Usually it’s pretty easy and can be done on arrival.

    Your specifics would be helpful, having no idea what amounts of money was needed for your permits to get to where you've been, so far?
    Next ...Waves project is fixing a low compression #3 cylinder on the 24hp 3 cylinder Yanmar. Then I'll be ready to go on a sailing summer adventure.

      I'd say Great subject ..bad execution. Definitely explain the cost and the process of checking into another country. I know they checked in before they left so...did you go to conculate before hand? how long were they allowed to stay etc etc..

      Sorry we didn't address this here, as the question was more about the process overall, for all countries, not just Mexico, and not specifically about costs... If you want to know the specifics about what we paid to check-in to Mexico, we discuss this in detail in a previous video, you can watch here: ruclips.net/video/lkw4jXBEY2A/видео.html All of the exact costs and what they were for are discussed at the end of the video. :)

    What is the name of the license one would need to use a boat?

    • @AdventureAdriftSailing
      @AdventureAdriftSailing  4 года назад +1

      As far as we know, no country requires a license in order to enter. However, charter companies generally have requirements for certifications or time at sea in order to charter a boat.
