touchpad stops working unexpectedly on my new Victus laptop or after laptop was locked. Simple Windows restart is helpful - but this is not the option in the long-term. You need to fix it somehow so that there is no need in toubleshooting and different workarounds. Thanks.
How is it this difficult for HP to fix this issue? Synaptics driver has A PROBLEM. Not a single update has been made to fix it. Infact the latest BiOS basically bricked the touchpad and made it unusable. I know it's Synaptics because another way to fix the touchpad is to disable and then reenable the driver on device manager.

It wasnt this bad before,i never had this problem in the past…it so bad to the point where i have to reset my laptop every couple of days and when my touchpad just freezes and im unable to move the mouse thingy on the computer, everything works fine in the background like my youtube video still plays with no lag and the only issues is just moving the damn thing

Thanks for replay but still the same issue. Could you just answer the question, why it works in BIOS mode but doesnt in Windows? Whats the problem ? @@HPSupport
As it is working in bios, it indicates that it is not an hardware issue. @@HPSupport , like I mentioned above I did try every possible way to solve my issue like update/disable/able/uninstall/install drivers, Regedit, Update Windows, HP PC HARDWARE DIAGNOSTIC TOOL UEFI/WINDOWS, Reset, Hard reset, On/Off, Restart , HP Support Assistant etc. It still doesn't work. But it did pass the HP PC HARDWARE DIAGNOSTIC in BIOS not in Windows mode again and again. I can't understand 😪.
My problem: I press any key on the keyboard, and I can't click with the touchpad for couple moments (less than a second). I can't seem to find any option on ELAN settings to fix this, as the TP block. For any help, thank you in advance to anyone. Greetings.

My Zbook G10 has had a wonky touch pad since day 1. It's been back to HP twice, Tech's are unable to replicate the problem, worked with a Executive CSR on the issue. Sill not right, the machine is barely functional with the bad touchpad. I made a horrible mistake buying this machine & HP's Customer Service is aweful. Makes having a warranty false economy.
