Thank you! I knew he wouldn't be picked but I agree with you. Wexford's best player should be an all-star. Same with Waterford, Tipp, Galway & Dublin's best player.
Chin is unlikely to win a second all star before he retires unfortunately. Contention for Hurler of the Year until Clare beat them, but Wexford didn't get to the semis. If he can get there he'll be in with a solid chance but until then he'll only get a nomination
@@Smallballonly just the 5 points in the Munster final win & 10 points in the semi final v Cork. 6 from play more than the majority of the forwards who played extra time in the show piece yesterday. Only Rodgers, Kelly & McCarthy scored as much from open play
All the Clare players but no John Conlon? Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't he covering Shane Barrett in the final? if so, he shutdown the engine to the Cork offence for 90 minutes!
Patrick Horgan and Aaron Gillane should have been included in the full forward line. Brian Hayes has been very good, but doesn't deserve a place in the full forward line.

Lee chin gets constantly overlooked. If he played for cork/limerick/clare/kk, he’d be a shoe-in for an all star every year. What an athlete
Lee Chin isn't consistent enough.
Chin was consistent all year.. you could easily have chin instead of Brian Hayes.. blanchfield instead of Kyle Hayes aswell

Recency bias in a lot of those selections
my thoughts exactly
Not really .. they picked from
Ty best teams all year
Surely Patrick Collins should have been on there his saves are what got cork to the final
Qulligan saves got clare to the final.
All time classic all Ireland final
Is the final the only game the panel watched this year?
Did you not listen
LOL nice point! I think they glanced at the Semi Finals(but didn't notice Eoin Cody). The all -star team should be based on the entire championship.
