Sorry folks but when are the coaches going to let lucy play her game. She should be bringing the ball down making the play. She is the play maker give her the ball. She can drive in the pink, score from the mid range. Then she can pass out to the sideline for 3 pointers. Iowa need big heavies in the pink. Need more outside 3 point shooters. Lucy is wasted on the sideline she hasn't got good 3 point shots. Let her drive into the pink bring the defence to her and pass to open players.
Agree with you but this game felt a lot like LSU hitting threes in the NCAA and Iowa was t expecting it. Hannah steulke is not a post but she was a non factor until late in the game when she was active on the boards. She needs to be in the game to rebound. I didn’t see hustle plays until Iowa was already down double digits. We had the chance to get it to five point differential, we shoot a three pointer and miss. But next play we cut it to six. I’m talking about Iowa like it’s my team and I live in Kansas. 😊 I love Midwest sports 🏀
I love that the Freshman came in and played important minutes off the bench and that Lucy is back!!!! Sydney great as always; she is the glue this year. It doesn’t hold together without her leadership and decision making. She uses her ability for sure

Yes there is a huge reliance on the 3 pointer! They need that interior presence. Also passing is terrible with Iowa. I do agree that Jan may not be the long term person. I don’t see any changes.

Turning the ball over and she has a hard time playing against girls as tall as her or just a little taller. And forget shooting threes, I’m screaming at my tv noooo don’t shoot that!! The entire Iowa team was missing layups like crazy, Olsen, Affolter, Stremlow all missing make able layups on several occasions. The only player I really like is Guyton; she can shoot, has handles and makes good decisions.

Hannah Stuelke said she misses Caitlin and I see why because Hannah is struggling this year. Those buckets are not as easy as last year. Hard to believe she actually had 46 points in a game last year but it was all Caitlin’s doings.
