I must say , The matcha ration of the offense is going small, Is for Strong to play the 5, She talented enough, Piege , Chen, Fudd, Cheli, Shade, In that way, They have speed, To close out on defense, Because When Al Alfey , Brady are on the floor, They are allowing too much separation from their man on defense.
(Long post) I see soooo many mistakes. Defensively and offensively. Uconn needs to learn how to deal with oppenents that overplay the hand-off at the high post as well as in bounding. 2nd. This offense is demonstrating an inability to score off penetration. The wing players who get to the paint stop and get stuck looking to kick out, but there is no real action on the perimeter to free anyone up. I always think Geno is unveiling his true strategy slowly because he's a teacher. I'm hopeful by tourney time, we are full on premiere execution of Coach's expectations. I see slow progress. The ladies just need to see themselves in the mistakes and get experience.
