In Chapel Hill, it was a spirited top-20 matchup between the No. 3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the No. 17 North Carolina Tar Heels, with the Irish winning 76-66. Hannah Hidalgo amd Olivia Miles controlled the game, with Hidalgo scoring a game-high 24 points and Miles adding 19 points on 5-8 shooting from three-point range. As a team, the Irish made 13-21 from behind the arc in the win. Maria Gakdeng scored 16 points, Lexi Donarski added 13 and Alyssa Ustby scored 12 points in the loss for Carolina.
