This one and the first movie are two of my all time favorite films as a kid. Crocodile Dundee was one of the very few franchises that actually had a sequel that was as good as the first movie
TBH the 3rd one wasn’t that bad either. A little too family goofy funny true enough but it did a decent job of still showing mick being a bada** and cool fellow
Maybe one of the best "tough guy" scenes in cinema history. That tracker you know was the real deal...but he literally vanished when he learned who they wanted him to track.
I remember when I first saw this and saw the tracker disappear, it gave me a idea that if this guy was THAT good at disappearing, mick dundee was equally as good as him if not better. And I always had a thought that the reason the tracker felt insulted was because mick was either like a brother to him or mick was a legend he didn't want to tangle with
I don't think the tracker felt insulted. But he knew Mick, and I think they were friends. Mostly because Mick knew and was friends with probably everyone in that area. He also knew what those guys were going to be in for, that's why he had that little laugh before he disappeared.
The way that the tracker asks "Is this Mik Dundee you're looking for?" You can see by his face...NO CHANCE!" P.s Mike is actually classed as a tribes man. Which means you've got no chance.
oof landing that Heavy Citation 2 on a dirt runway is badass in itself. i'd aleast do 1 low pass to make sure there are no potholes, tree branches, rocks, dead drug dealers on the strip. you get the idea. that thing is still awesome... 430kts cruise for 1987 ain't bad!
@@AgiHammerthief we are probably putting to much thought into this, since its a movie and not real. Still though, you wonder if its possible for someone to disappear that fast into woods with someone five or teen feet behind him. I've heard bush trackers and indigenous people some places including Native Americans can do strange things and hide in ways you never think possible. You wonder if it is possible how they do it. Always been fascinated by that. Obviously they don't just disappear into thin air they are human not ghosts. Curious exactly how they do it if they can.
@@AgiHammerthief Not that close - but likely within 10 ft. I grew up in a small town with woods around much of it, and learned how to blend in and disappear like this in the woods I grew up in. I had some Native American Indians as friends, who with their parents taught me stuff as I am 1/8 Pottawatomi (and my skin color shows it).
the instant that frank fella says that him and his boys can take care of mick, all i could think to myself was "this lot have not got a clue about who they are trying to kill"
Remember back to the previous scene, when Rico told Miguel to DOUBLE THE PRICE!!! That was enough to get whomever really knew where Mick and Sue were to TALK!!!
But who squealed on Mick and Sue? How did Rico find out that they were in Australia, because if they are refering to Frank as the informant then maybe they should have showed us interaction that led Rico, Miguel, Garcia and Jose to Australia. Show don't tell
Always loved that the tracker vanishes the moment they say they're going after Mick.
That was a funny scene!🤣🤣🤣
@Kendrick Cooper I'm marshall texas that was loyalty to mick the tracker had lol
My favorite part of the movie. 😂 He’s even laughing as he walks off!
@@nicholasrogers7276Was the tracker being loyal to Dundee, or did he know Dundee was too formidable to go up against?
@@nrkgalt Yes.

this movie was an absolute classic
I have loved Luis Rico since I was a child. 🥰 Wonder if I'm the only one Team Rico. 😁😋
Yes, it's a very goose bump inspiring scene. I wonder if there are people out there that can really do that.... so amazing
Some say it happened to David Blanasi in real life.
I used to work with a lot of guys like that, mention work, they simply vanished.
I think I worked with some of them as well..."I suppose we better crack on? Where the fk did he go?"
there are. the actor disappeared and was never seen again

This is Mr. Rico. He pays the bills! 😆
Erskine was my favourite character…I wish they did more with him
Rico might have all of the money in the world but when it comes to respect, Mick is respected a ton more even on his own home turf.

The dude who goes to bring the tracker back is literally 5 seconds behind him and he loses him.
Yeah he disappeared pretty fast
Yep Abos are that good.
he focused too far out in the bush, dude was probably hiding at his feet.

Love this movie the best !!!

It's not just who - its to do it in his native "back yard" where he grew up and spent most of his life.
Hector Ubarry was decent as Rico. Surprising he has not has more roles and a higher profile.
He deserves an Oscar for the role in this movie!
he was great i agree. kind of an all time villain imo
@@grawakendream8980 Hey came across as a bit of a milk toast.

I always wondered how Rico found out exactly where Mick and Sue had fled to
Well it's no real secret that the closest thing he called home in Australia was Walkabout Creek, that would be the ideal place to start
Remember back to the previous scene, when Rico told Miguel to DOUBLE THE PRICE!!! That was enough to get whomever really knew where Mick and Sue were to TALK!!!

La naturaleza y el ingenio venciendo a la mafia y al poder jaja buenísima película 👍

I don't need a gun.

She did an article with a photo of walkabout creek pub.

The music score of these movies isn’t appreciated enough.
Iam johan and I love this film
For a pg rating the second movie actually pretty dark 😊
I had no idea Harvey Weinstein was in this movie!
Erskine thinks he's tough now.
Nobody knows… not even the FEDS hahaha
Rotten Tomatoes is rubbish. This was actually a decent film.
