Again if I am wrong please let me know I learned the Mayan calender 15 years ago in college and that's what I got from it. I was 16, and I heard it from multiple people, including some of the media, stating that the world will end on the 2012, specifically December 21st. At that time, I believed it. I truly thought the world was gonna end, and when it came and nothing happened, I was surprised. Nobody said at that time that it was the end of the Mayan cycle.
