Now that I look at it why does Christianity have its symbol as the thing that tortured Jesus? Shouldn't it be like a dove or like a piece of olive branch to represent the divinity pureness or Peace of Jesus. You know all the things that he stood for. Why is it a bronze age torture device The symbol for Christianity like I get it's supposed to represent jesus's sacrifice but I much rather use symbols that represent jesus's teachings rather than the thing he was killed on.
