It astonishes me how the shots Mac and Charlie staring at each other across the restaurant never stops being the funniest shit ever. All in all probably a top 5 episode for me
Episodes like this, where very little actually happens and it's all about the characters interacting with each other, are always some of the best. At its core, it's the well developed characters that make this show such a classic.
The waiter is actually the same guy who got Mac and Charlie their job filing mail at the office (Pepe Silvia). Always nice to see the only moments the gang gets together without fighting is to laugh at the expense of others ❤
This episode is a good example of all the character dynamics I show this episode to people who want to “understand” the sunny gangs style, quintessential characters character writing ❤😊
The thing about the later seasons I miss the most is how close Mac and Charlie were. I’m always remembering season 1 where they’re both blasting rock music and huffing glue at Charlie’s apartment together. Ronnie the Rat and Dirt Grub-best buds
seeing how much you guys openly enjoyed this made it all the more fun, it IS a brilliant episode though, amazing what good acting and brilliant writing makes you not care/notice how small the setting is
Yall have fantastic laughs! I absolutely love how much you enjoy this unique and insane show. It is in my top 5 of all time. I just subscribed to your page today and I really look forward to all of the episode reactions I have ahead of me. 💯
Although I agree this is a hilariously great episode I dont know if id consider it the best. I truely believe there are previous episodes that you may find alot funnier the second time watching if you ever choose to…I know I did. All these years later I still catch new things rewatching episodes. Another reason why they’re funnier is you know the characters better than you did the first watch
I have at least 10 episodes in the category of "the best Sunny episode EVER" but if I r e a l l y had to choose, i think I'd go with The Gang Dines Out.
I feel like all my favorite Sunny episodes is them locked in one place. All the quarantine episodes continue to make me cry with laughter after countless rewatches. The Gang Gets Trapped is maybe my single favorite episode
Classic episode!! The focus on "tribute" is just amazing lol. And having served for about 7 years in my life, one of the WORST tables you can possibly get is the solo woman with a book. It's real. They take up your 4 top table for 2 hours on a Friday night, spend $30, and leave a $4 tip. They SUCK lol. Only worse table is international travelers who don't know about tipping or just pretend not to know. Either way, shite tips.
IT'S TIMEEE to dine out! What an episode, the Waiter introduction and we come back to Gugino's! I thkink the last time we saw the gang there was on season 2. Anyway, SALUD!!
One of my top faves for sure! Love how Mac cops a feel of the waiter, whereas Dennis and Frank did with the waitress! 😂 This whole episode is full of laugh out loud moments!!
I find this episode drags a bit, and I’m not crazy about desperate, needy Mac. It feels cartoonish. I do love the waiter, though, and it is quintessential Sunny that they it aside their differences once they had someone else to laugh at.

Dude probably got fired for hiring such morons.
I like to think it's the same character and he got fired from the office building for hiring Mac and Charlie.
@@xDarthSTYXxyou beat me to that exact sentence lol.
@@xDarthSTYXx I am pretty sure it has been retconned that way. That actor shows up a bunch more times in the series.
@@TheBlarggleno, it hasn’t been retconned that it’s the Waiter in that episode. it’s just the actor playing two characters.
Dennis singing to Mac, and the running gag of never remembering the waiter are absolute gold😂😂😂😂
This is definitely a top tier episode. Mac and Charlie staring at each other across the restaurant is one of the funniest bits in the whole show.
…so far
I come back to this reaction to revel in the genuine laughter. Nothing is better for the soul.
☺️
Every time Frank wears a wig it’s guna be S tier
I agree, even 14x4 which I’m not sure everyone would agree with
This is the first episode I ever watched of It’s Always Sunny and it remains in my top 3 to this day. It’s perfect in every way.

You get some of it in the later seasons, like in 13x5. But you’re right about it not being nearly as much as the earlier seasons
every dynamic sucks now
He’s been replaced with Frank
Mac shifts his focus to Dennis more & more lol and it honestly makes sense
Glad yall loved this one. It’s one of my top 10’s. It’s perfect
Ahh the Waiter is here. Very underrated character.
Sunny makes miracles with bottle episodes just like Community.
Wall to wall facial expressions and emotional nuance.
@@wavehellhole might as well sit in the corner with a box on my head
Its about time!! I was waiting for you guys to pay tribute👍
Dennis's Song at the end of his speech about the Troop is maybe one of the most underrated Dennis moments in the series

Thank you! We hope you enjoy them all!
Get the man a shirt. It is TIIIIIIIIIIIIIME to give the video a like.
I know, how has this not happened yet?!
It truly is a classic episode

The guy sitting with Dee is Ken Sagoes who played Kincaid in the Nightmare on Elm Street series
T-shirt ! T-shirt !
What I love bout this episode is how it just slowly builds and builds and builds comedic tension until the standoff lol
Everything about this episode is so good-it’s definitely in my top 3
A large book! 😂

What a weird coincidence that everyone seems to be reading the same book
Such a classic episode!
GREAT!!!!😤 I slept in and wasn’t here for the first appearance of The Waiter 😭 not that Dan and Dean would notice I specifically wasn’t here😂❤
The part where he says your hair looks small is a homage to that movie with jack nicholson
I don't know if it's "the best episode ever" but it's definitely the winner for this season IMO and the best part of it, you made the thumbnail lol
Congrats Dean. What will be on the t-shirt? The flying turtle? Fat Mac? Mac with the Ocular glasses? Mac with his hawaiian shirts?
Dee’s reading a book!😂😂😂
I consider this to have a "happy ending"
My favorite endings are like this, where the gang is winning and getting along.
Very rare, but heartwarming.
Your hair looks small 😂 One of my favorite lines for some reason
Whenever my sister and I don't like the other person's outfit, we say with a smirk, " At least your hair looks small" 😂😂
Classic episode!! The focus on "tribute" is just amazing lol.

This is for sure a top 5 ep
One of the best. I can't decide if the stare or Sweet Dee's evil laugh at the end is my favorite.
Mac and Charlie staring at each other is hilarious
That guy came in 20 seconds said ohhh shit! I don't need this shit! And was awesome 😅😂😂
11:22 is the hardest I've seen them laugh. I love that joke.
Love this episode one of my favorites
"Take the chair! Just don't make a scene."

So, you have chosen death.
Been looking forward to this episode‘s reaction. So damn good and funny haha
Such a good episode. Iconic
I used to think this was a good episode but slightly over hyped by people, but this reaction was very fun to watch! I like it a bit more now lol
yay dean gets his t shirt now!! i’m betting on a rum ham shirt
Top 5 episodes for me!
Top five for sure.
1k likes 😯 time for an always sunny shirt Dean
Indeed!
You guys should really check out the Always Sunny podcast. It's brilliant.
One of the best. No doubt about it

S5, The Waitress is Getting Married

I think this is my favorite episode also.

Bring Back The Episodes Number on The Video Title Please
Cugino's is not a real restaurant in Philadelphia.
6:12 - 6:19 See?! The sexual harassment is comedic there because he's a male and not a female!!! 🤣🤣 *laughs till death*
One of my top faves for sure! Love how Mac cops a feel of the waiter, whereas Dennis and Frank did with the waitress! 😂 This whole episode is full of laugh out loud moments!!
Man I get sad that know one ever knows Kincaid in this.
I'm glad you guys know what a bottle episode is, but I won't say why 😏
wall to wall emotional nuance
What's a "maffyer"?
Mafia
@@TheMovieJourney
Well that seems needlessly obtuse, you could just say mafia
Cuginos isnt a real restaurant unfortunately.
The real unfortunately is that the studio has been torn down and we will never see Guiginos again
Pay tribute! and like the vid so knock off nick frost can get his shirt.

When is Mac not needy though? Haha

I’m starting to question their tastes if they think this is the best Sunny episode. Cuz I seen them dislike episodes wayy funnier than this
I guess that means we can question your tastes too?
But does it matter? It's all subjective
Its one of the most popular episodes in the sunny community. You seem to be in the minority on this opinion.
nvm just watched with you guys and laughed my ass off@@TheMovieJourney
Next episode is the best episode of the series. 🫏🧠
