Thanks for watching! Give the video a like and a subscribe if you enjoyed, more riding to come but also more tips! Check the description for all the links, it supports my channel.
Remdogs videos are getting proper classy 👌🤙🏾
To be a betterrr montagne bayk rrideur. U need a franch axent
I've already become a better rider just by watching your videos, you give invaluable information. Thanks!
Definitely need more like this! Cool concept, and the fact you’re independent doesn’t make it feel like an ad or your shoving promos down our throat. Cheers bruv keep it up
Glad you liked it!
Great products Remy, we know how honest you have been with product performance and that you wouldn't use something that you didn't trust, your riding is just too demanding for anything else 👌
Thank you guys!
In depth suspension set up guide and love the video
Coming soon!
The new intro clip is sick !
Nice video man 🙌
Enjoyed this one thoroughly. Thanks Remy!
I’ve learned so much from your channel! Please keep up the educational content!
Thank you! Will do!
Who spotted the new intro? :)
Great series of shots from your recent rides (especially the night ride). I wish you'd come to Santa Fe when you do Sedona and Moab. Angel Fire is a bike park you need to shred and the South Boundary trail from Angelfire to Taos is beautiful and techy at the end. Hope to see you at the Sedona MTB Festival!
New intro is sick. Nicely done🤘
One man Army Remy 💪
Insane 🤩🤩
Love the new intro
Amazing. Happy to see you make one of this videos 🙏
More to come!
Looking forward to the new content remy! Great job 👏🏻
Great video, Remy! Considering a few of those prods. I did notice the new intro featuring some of the older footage. Good stuff!!!
Thanks! Yes it's all stuff from this year.
My tipps: Comfortable saddle, Ergon grips, photochromatic lens, or mtb shorts without padding, and maybe long gloves. They really make a difference.
Rare to get such an honest mix of advice and recommendations, nice one!
Glad it was helpful!
Remy great video, really enjoyed your honest reviews on the products.
Great info! I look forward to more videos of this type.
Great video! I didn’t know about that tire pressure gauge. Ill be getting one soon. Ty!
Yes we need a dedicated video that explains how to maintain a bike, how often to clean, how to clean, how/how often lubricate, etc.
Great Video ... btw I've also been loving the new mtb tires from Goodyear! They are great.
Thanks Rémy for this great video. Great suggestions. I'm also looking for new products to sell in our shop and today I also found some. :)
I also tested the new Ergon GDH Team grips and I love them but I need larger diameter for my XXL sized hands. I hope Ergon will produce them soon. Also love the GE1 Evo Factory but now my 2 favourites are GA2 Fat and the OneUp Fat. Good luck and keep it up. The whole bike industry needs guys like You to promote this sport. :)
Thanks for the tips
Good video !! Yes we need "Bike steup" video like you was saying
I just received them On One carbon bars in the mail today for my first modern mtb build… Super stoked to see a favorite rider suggest em!! May have to grab that helmet and ask santa for some sunglasses…
Right on!
Any bike component that contacts either you or the trails and road are the ones worth upgrading first and foremost. Great video.
Vidéo instructive
Bonne initiative avant Noël 🎅 🎉
Merci
Thank you, for this
Glad you're ok after that big stack 🤘 looked like a lot to walk away from clean 👍
Looking forward to the new content! I spent a lot on my spindrift so budget tips are welcome - however a 140$ pair of glasses doesn't really fit that category 😂 I've been using safety glasses from the hardware store. They may not look as good, but they're certified for safety, adjustable, 3-5$ per pair and available with tinted glass.
Never cheap out on a helmet tho!
J'adore le contenu informatif, continuez vos superbes vidéos
Great video Remy.
Great video!
Now I know why I can’t get hold of maxxis DD’s , there all in your garage! 🤣
thanks man god bless you
10:58 : in fact I know this from calisthenics: "wrong" grip on any bar (for me it was pulling) will get you golfers elbow (or the other elbow sickness on the other side) ... so I guess this is really a useful tipp; thanks!
love the new intro!
thanks remmy
I got fattigued on MTB content lately, but this is the stuff i really want to know more about.
Since i got the feeling last time in the Bikepark that my hands slipped from the grips I may try out the Ergon grips next.
Looking forward to the Tire video, since I lack trust in them and maybe the right tyre may help.
Great Video!!
Glad to hear it! I look forward to chat about suspension and tires. My two favourites!
@@remymetailler Tell us everything you know! It can only make us better riders.
I can really recommend Ergon grips. They have so many different types.
@@dominikgarbauer6883 Well, then i only have to find the ones that fit colorwise ;D
that's the hard part. 🤣 I tried out GE1, GE2 and GE2 FAT. The latter offers the most dampening and is good for bigger hands. But they all offer a nice amount of grip @@gnihi1
nice presentation ....more please
New intro looks mad!
Honnêtement les chaînes on l'air de qualité et sont vraiment belles je vais envisager en acheter en plus j'en avais besoin 👌
thanks great product
Glad you like it!
Good stuff😊
The best cheap upgrade i got for my bike was swapping the 18T ratchet in my DT swiss hub for a 54T ratchet. Might have a look at the chain slap thingy.
are you serious?
@@ianiscaratti4924 It sounds much louder
remy I have a quite unusualle request, can you maybe do a vid about how it is to move to canada cause its something I want to do in a few years and I know there are a lot of vids about it but you are a youtuber I really like and I would live to know how it was( even a short whould help) all that asuming you arent native to canada.
love your vids keep uploading.
Love the money throw in the beginning. Making it rain🤣🤣
Was 160$$. I did not have a ten ahaha
awesome
I would like a more in depth maxxis tire break down. Also maybe some info on cushcore.
Nice one.
I would love to sea a video, where you show us how you mentain your bike.
Hello Remy, do some urban riding around the streets 👌🏽😎
I like the old motorbike thing: Question: I've got $500 what can I buy for my bike to make me faster/better? Answer: buy $500 worth of fuel and train till it's all gone.
I guess the MTB version of that is brake pads and other consumable parts.
We ride the same one up bars but mines are filled with 50g+ of closed cell foam. Does wonder for rough terrain.
Thanks Rémy,
CAN you tell me the n’amenez of your Best saddle you use for dh?
Encore merci pour le partage -
Tim
The Ergon SMD saddle. Downhill specific. Shorter, stronger.
I think if you spent $150 on gas back and forth from the trailhead, youd end up a better rider ;)
True
The DHRII is also a great front tire. I have it on my aggressive hardtail with a dissector or aggressor on the back. Not sure which it is.
Yes for sure. Minaar and Brosman both rode it for years on the front. Personally I prefer the Assegai.
9 out of 10 :)
Woouuww how many bikes do you have there 😮
Hey Remy, you had a video a year or two ago that featured a photographer that also ripped on the bike as well. I was trying to find that video and I couldn't see it. Its one of my favorites because the follow cam is so good. is it still up on your channel?
dude i love your accent
Hm, some interesting ones there I’d never considered. 👍🏻
Julbo photocromatics are the best.
Remy, I tried to order the Julbo glasses- they do not ship to Canada on Backcountry. Any advice on where to get them in Canada for that price?
anyone else try ??
Oh yes some brands can't ship to Canada to protect the distributors. You should be able to get them on Julbo.ca
Wow ❤
Reason I ask on your DVO dawn his dual crown. I haveca 2022 kenevo expert boxxer dual crown 27.5 with DVO shock. I want to put DVO dual crown. I'm not sure I should go mullet or 27.5 all around. Any advice
Sorry I'm confused?
@@remymetailler I Hava specialized kenevo expert with dual crown forks. Is a 27.5 wheel front and rear. You ride DVO forks. Dual crown. Is your bike 29 wheel front and rear 27.5.
Is your DVO dual crown a 29 wheel with a mullet tear 27.5 or front 27.5
29 front and 27.5 rear
Cool vid 👌What jacket are you wearing?
7mesh chilco anorak I think 😉
@@diaph8183 cheers for that will have a look 👍👍
Correct
@remymetailler you showed some cool roll up seat covers in a previous video, I can't find them again. Can you link me?
Yes they are called Scuvvers: www.kickstarter.com/projects/scuvvers/scuvvers-the-worlds-first-stowable-car-seat-protectors
A good tyre gauge is so hard to find.
I have one that switches itself off just as you get to the rear after checking the front, garbage.
I bought a second with a dial and a needle instead of a digital display except I didn't look at the dial properly before buying, 30psi accounts for the first 10% of the dial so it's really hard to get accuracy with it, garbage.
I recently bought another digital gauge and that one will not live update the pressure as you press the deflate button which makes it redundant, it also switches itself off quicker than the other digital gauge I have, double garbage.
I have been using the Topeak D2 for the past 8 years or so. It's bomb.
That topeak guage is also the only one I've found so far that works with Fillmore valves. If that's something that matters for you.
Good to know!
Hi Rémy, where can I buy those wall mounts that you use to hang your bikes?
Hug from Portugal
They are the Steady Rack. Use my code REMY15 for a discount
@@remymetailler Thank you!
What grips do you ride on your e mtb
The all new Ergon GDH
Is he using DHR II on the front as well ?
KMC makes awesome chains. Seem to last longer than stock GX chains in my experience and are reasonably priced
How are you liking that GX Transmission on your ebike?
Been great so far
Did You use the X12 on your Ebike to?
No I did not because the X12 does not work with the all new T Type. Working on a new chain that works for it.
@@remymetailler Thanks a lot Man
cool intro
Remy. Don’t pander to the algorithm or the comment section. Just make fun videos and tell us what breaks and what doesn’t.
If you can find a talented MTB rider who offers coaching sessions for $150 or less then in my opinion there is nothing else that will improve your riding for this amount of money, period. Invest in yourself first (coaching), bike and gear second. 👍🏽
Ideally you do both
Ok so I bought 10 new things for my MTB for $1500, still can't ride for sh't ☹
Oops
why didnt you mention the EDC tool and/or why dont you ride with it
i use the Topeak tools
all things I want to buy but no money left to buy it :(
Mtb stuff are hell expensive, example mtb tire 70€ it's stupid expensive. Doesn't make sense
Expensive but there is not much way to go cheaper.
Regálame una bici
can i have an enduro bike
150usd!! That's like 1000 canadian😅
I don’t know, a pro rider telling us about his free products that we can buy for 150 to make us not suck so bad, lmao. I’m sorry he’s a great rider. He likes them because they are free and sponsored.
Did you watch the start of the video?
@@remymetailler yep and I saw all your links to backcountry that supports your channel. It’s all good, people like your content and lots of your gear is great..you will get lots of sales.
Parles Francaise S'il vous plait😉
one big ad
That's my job;)
No your job is to provide mtb content (crazy riding skills) I don t mind an ad. You have to earn money of ads, i get that, but you could integrate one product in every video and earn more than just present it in one borring video because nobody cares.
I am a big fan of your riding and videos! @@remymetailler

Pride colors on your watch?
😂😂😂
Why not? Love a raimbow
can't wait for you to get famous
The best tip is: Spend less on stuff/gear and more on actual riding (vacations, etc.)
