“Stop bein stubborn, just GO!” Adorable energy. “You’re going to be this guy someday.” Was that your dream? Do you still want to do it? As I’m sure you’re aware you’re more than capable of getting the job. MAN what a talent. Super jealous.
awww cute! I like how you're so cheerful and nervous and laughing, but once you started playing, you put the "I'm playing the piano don't interrupt me" face hahaha 100% concentration :)
Same, my family just HATES the third movement from the Moonlight Sonata for some reason. The worst thing is that if my family hate something, they would not let it see daylight.
I think what's most remarkable is seeing how much you've progressed since this. You could consider making a trip to Disney and recording every few years to use as your baseline check, lol. Well done =)
Kristen, Thank you for sharing your talent. I can't stop watching your video's because I love Ragtime and you add a certain "Love" to every piece. Amazing talent you have, Keep up the great work :)
You were 15, of course you would feel embarrased but there was nothing there to be embarrassed about. Some nerves getting the speed a bit too fast, but you managed it. And look at where you are now! Ok, technically at least so some extent that same corner, but you know what I mean.
I assume it is the same guy that probably played that corner since somewhere in the last century. Note: I am not from the area, but I got that impression from these videos in general.

Wow I would NOT be able to play anything if my mom would be yelling from the side like that. Sounds nervewrecking. Very impressive

And just like that… A Star Was Born.
For your first rag, that's incredible.
I remember that guy Johnny when I was growing up. That guy killed it on the piano. I couldn't believe his endurance.

It sounded good but you have really improved since then, now it sounds fantastic. I hope to learn this rag some day, I love it.
Sounds weird, but the smell of the place always comes to me whenever I see Coke Corner and hear that piano. Great job, Kristen Jr!

Ur gonna be "this guy" someday
This is a very accurate summary of childhood in the 90s and 2000s... every parent filming their child for posterity.
I like playing piano and I can't even play the Maple Leaf Rag and I'm 18, so you're doing really well lol!
Lol!!
I'm at grade 8, got B+ at grade 7. I HATE COVID!!!!!!!!!!!
At the end "ok, we have to go feed my son" 😂😂

Adorable
This is Ok and no Problem, dear Kristen!!😊😘💖👍
lol yours sounded like the storms were coming and his sounded like the ice cream man was coming
I aspire to be like you!!! I'm 13 and I know how to play the first part of maple leaf rag and I hope I'll be able to do it!
For 15 that's still quite impressive. Can you upload a video of yourself playing The Entertainer? :D
I'm only 16 and can play MLR, it really isn't a difficult song.
Woah your so cool... XD
Franz Joseph Liszt great who asked
Bobblob40 nobody asked, I'm just saying MLR is a beginner level difficulty
Just playing notes is beginner, playing it correctly is advanced. All Ragtime has syncopation that most people don't know how to play right.
You know it now for sure.
bravo
delightful :)
How the hell did you learn to rag that well at 15? Are there even any tutors to teach that? RUclips wasn't big back then. PS - You're awesome
wait what.. you filmed the TV??
Did anyone notice this was on tv?
! meow! thanks! love it!
+Kristen Mosca,
You've aged very well.
I was born in 2004 😂
C. K. 4 same hahah
Is Johnny the older gentleman that seems to always be in the back ground in your other Disney videos?
I assume it is the same guy that probably played that corner since somewhere in the last century.
Note: I am not from the area, but I got that impression from these videos in general.
How old were u back then
You have all these videos at Disneyland, got to know all the piano players there, so do you have a life-time pass or what?
I feel like I should! :P
Moms
lol im 15 and playing the Maple Leaf Rag, taking a break from classical piano concertos they can be quite the toughie
That 2004 camera quality 😐
But you played well for a 15 year old!
The camera did well for a 2004 camera too.
Why do you still look like 15?
When does this take place? I know it is in 2004, I'm looking for a specific date.
I honestly have no idea. lol
Kristen Mosca Also who's the boy that is standing on the left side of the piano earlier in the video?
+Solidgreen02 My little brother!
Too fast!
