    Thank you! I'm assuming I should be counteracting collapsing in the low back by drawing the navel back to keep that area as lengthened as possible? I find this movement, as well as leveling my pelvis keeps me feeling good in other backbends.

      Yes, absolutely! With glute engagement. Allow your eyes to look up to eyelids as it will also facilitate extension of the spine!

    I do not have a yoga block can I use a pillow?🤔

      The pillow wont give you the feedback that a solid object would. Highly recommend purchasing cork blocks as they are very useful in a practice
