Steeler fan here. Browns are on my sh*t list and will never come off, but i 100 percent love Myles Garrett’s game. His impact on pass rushing is truly special. Im a TJ stan, but myles is one of my favorite players to watch as a football fan.

Myles gets double teamed twice as much as Watt, that speaks for itself. But also add in that all of the coaches/coordinators gave Myles 70 percent of the first place votes. If you don't have a plan for TJ, he may get a few sacks. If you don't have a plan for Myles, he will wreck your entire game. He's on a different level of athleticism.
Thats the difference between the two. TJ can beat you a million different ways. He may have 2 sacks, a couple tfl, and multiple passes defended. However, when it comes time to make a play to seal a game or to turn the momentum, TJ is always there. He isn’t the strongest, fastest, or biggest. His motor just doesn’t stop. Myles is a just a freak of nature. He can wreck your entire gameplan by doing one thing. Beating you at rushing the passer. His pressures and hurries are a replication of that. He is stronger, faster, and bigger than you and there’s nothing you can do about it. All in all, i used to be with the TJ is better train, but I realize just how different they truly are. Two totally different styles and two totally different assignments.
The way you phrased this whole comment, makes it seem like Watt is just a "good" edge rusher, and not one of the best to ever do it. I like Myles and I realize he's a great athlete, but Watt is just as much of a game-wrecker as Myles is, if not more... Watt has single handedly won games for the Steelers.
#5 in the players' list this year and the top-ranked DE at that. Plus, let's not take away the fact that Myles Garrett is among the best guys at his position!

Ravens fan here, Garret is the best DL/DE in the division and probably the league overall with Donald gone. The TJ-cope here is strong, the Steeler's entire system revolves around creating opportunities for him, the Browns system is dependent on Garret winning no matter what the offense throws at him. Towards the end of the season, when he was injured and mortal, this defense fell off hard. We probably aren't going to see no. 1 overall picks on defense much in the 21st century, but Garret has actually lived up to the billing, wish he wasn't in my division.
He's also one of my favorite commentators on the top 100, particularly for AFC-N players. He gives insightful, specific feedback, sometimes at his own expense, I shut up and listen when he pops on a video. He's a great player and a good citizen of the division who deserves better. For me he's taken the mantle of Joe Thomas as a HOF player who will waste his career on a doomed team.
I'm in the minority but he's slightly overrated. He's great in the regular season but what has he done in the playoffs? They gave a 45 burger to the texans how many sacks, qb hits or tackle for a loss did he have? Zero. When has he taken over a meaningful game?
