The fact this song was posted on Tuesday and now M Bison is riding a horse shows how memorable and iconic Raul Julia’s performance as the villain in the 1994 live action film has become. And it also shows how Capcom is acknowledging the legacies of different parts of the franchise such as the return of the “streets vibes” from SF3 and using the final battle theme from the SF2 animated film for the Japanese trailers for SF6

kinda fascinated that all three psycho power users have a rough similar instrumentation of their themes; between JP's, Ed's, and Bison's themes they all carry a feeling of royalty and grandness, but shifted a bit differently
low bassy synths and the use of brass is heavilty prominent in all but are changed to fit personality and motive
We have a perfect Psycho trifecta now
JP is a pure evil Psycho Power zoner
Ed is a midrange Psycho power menace
M. Bison is definitely going to be a close-range pressure Psycho Power monster
This also feels vaguely similar to Aki's and Juri's themes but it might just be the "evil minor key synths" giving me that impression

I would say its because in a way Bison's theme feels like a prequel to JP's with JP's being more of a show off because its his first appeareance , having more intense sounds but only goes "psycho" at the middle of the theme, Bison's on the other hand mantains intensity but doesnt overdo it.

Calling it. This version of bison is the true bison. He took his soul back from rose and now he's complete. Thats why he doesnt remember who he was prior and just takes the bison name. Though he's complete,his body can barely contain the power.

To me, another part that stands out is 1:33-1:47 where it subtly sounds like a heroic theme in a twisted way, which sounds like a play on his SF4 and SF5 theme sounds which also seem upbeat and heroic

I really love how Capcom nailed the ominous tones for their more villainous characters. JP, Juri, AKI, and now Bison.
Say what you want, but I love the character themes for SF6. I think they knocked them out of the park, overall.

That's true. A lot of people are just blinded by nostalgia and dislike the SF6 themes because those are not SF2 or SF3 remixes.
But once you give them a closer listen you realize how much they fit the characters, just from a different perspective that their past themes.
As you said, the villainous characters have themes representing the menace they pose. Ryu's new upbeat theme shows how he can finally enjoy fighting the way he always wanted to. Akuma's theme just has a sense of raw power with a slight disortion symbolizing the demon in him.

just went and checked character and stagethemes again ... and seriously i can only think of a few themes that i'd personally consider lackluster
but the overall ost imho is definitely top even with the generally more laid back tone compared to SF V and 4
M. Bison is the Sigma of Street Fighter. No matter how many times Bison dies, he always comes back in the next game, just like Sigma in Megaman X

Technically Bison did it first. But yeah they're basically the same character.
Capcom likes using concepts between characters. See, say, Cody in Street Fighter Alpha and Simon Blackquill from AA4 both being prison inmates who break out of custody, but just do what needs to be done and then go back into custody.

They took some of the elements of his Street Fighter 2 theme with the bell sound effect that’s been prevalent since he debuted along with his Alpha 3 theme and just turned up the menace. It’s easily the darkest theme Bison’s ever had and it’s perfect for him as a character.

I really like this theme, absolutely one of the best new ones. It’s subtler and more complex than first expected for a character expected of Bison, but still leans into the grandiose and domineering, reflecting the stirring of a tyrant in this new shell

It's not really a retcon, some of the later character stories in SFV confirmed some small part of Bison was still around. Him getting a new body so quickly is a pretty out-of-pocket move, though.

Ah yes. Tuesday has its own theme song now.
This beat is something. The ost in general is something. There's a chill touch at the start that makes you think it sounds like a regular beat a rapper would make, but at the measure you keep listening to it, a sort of frightening feeling starts creeping up. A kind of menace that is growing at each second as the beat starts getting deeper. It also has a high-class-likeness to it, some fancy air on it.
I highly praise Capcom music team for such feelings this ost inflicted upon me

M. Bison's theme rocks. It sounds mysterious, ominous and yet there's some desperation mixed in it as well. Like he's desperate to find a way to regain control of all he once had.
weird i don't feel any desperation in this at all ... that was more with his SF5 theme (the worst variant imho)...
