Even his victory quote is like "This is indeed very good"

What’s the running joke on Jps theme? Sorry I was busy having a tekken 8 phase trying to make myself think that I like the game because of being naive wasting 70$ on it and not ever touching it ever again so what is the joke ?

I love how JP isn’t just downright bad, like even his exit after a win, he doesn’t bother stepping on his opponent’s face and just casually walks away.

I LOVE the final round music at 1:55. The stabbing rhythm makes it feel malicious and dominating, like you've witnessed something utterly horrible, and all you can do about it is RUN. It's reminiscent of his Level 3: where he finally rips loose a little and just goes straight for the throat.
I like that the music really picks up in the final round. Feels like it represents how JP is barely even trying while he fights but if you can survive and challenge him enough to get to a final round he'll start to show you some of his real power
This is about to be my first sf and it’s thanks to these themes

Sounds menacing, mysterious, evil, and intimidating, all with an air of sophistication thrown on top. Masterpiece of a theme honestly man. They did an excellent job with this one. Perfectly nailed it.

I really love the bit from 1:55 to 2:23 because it really shows that even though their methods greatly differ JP and Bison are still cut from the same maniacally evil cloth. Both are veritable madmen.
The sense of ominous, calculating malevolence in this track reminds me a lot of Seth's theme from SF4. It kind of makes me wish for a piano cover for this... Kudos to the composers for creating music that encompasses so many styles, cultures, and moods!

JP feels like the most "realistic" out of Street Fighter villains especially in comparison to Gill and Bison, both of whom were pretty eccentric. Meanwhile JP is perfectly content sitting in the shadows manipulating things behind the scenes.
I like how in his end cutscene for maxxing out his fighting style he just says “Youre searching for strength, yes? Strength, is meaningless. You must be very disappointed.”

ANd there is the fact taht his behavior as a former number cruncher and his motivations being more greedy than over the top gives a relatively realistic behavior but because of it it is also very unsettling.

I know people kinda dislike JP because projectile spam and all that, but I just LOVE fighting him, especially when his theme plays. It always feels like a boss fight and if you win, feels even better.

Capcom Cup X official theme
JP is basically all the Street Fighter bosses in one. The psycho energy like Bison, theme sounds similar to Seth's theme, and his stage is like Gill's stage(given that it does have red and blue across the stage). Even though they aren't bosses, he has the similar design of both Dudley and Eagle
Not to mention his similarities with G, the last boss before SF6.

I love how dark and imposing this sounds. And then you get to 1:55 and it almost has a regal sound to it, but it also sounds like he's pissed and is hell bent on winning, lol. I don't know, that's just what i got from it

That means it captures the character perfectly because my brain does the same lol.
Love how he isn't comically evil. Yeah, he's definitely bad, but it's an odd case of him doing some good things (helping developing nations) with bad intentions (laundering money in the background). Not to mention his overall mannerisms of not actually seeking out unnecessary violence, yet still being very violent when he finds it necessary.

Usually Capcom gets these character themes out of the way before another batch of reveals. So since Capcom Cup IX won't show off anything for SF6, this may lend credence towards a State of Play happening in the near future.

This theme kinda reminds me of Juri’s new theme in this game but with a trumpet style boss which makes sense as JP is positioned as the new antagonist for Street Fighter 6

He's refinated, mysterious, has vintage look, menacing, and mastered the Psycho and Soul powers and it sounds like an evil version of G's Theme

The name JP pretty much nowadays is associated with evil now, considering its relation with one of the largest and most powerful banks in the world (4th most powerful). This guy and the theme fits perfectly.
