I’m iOS 13.3.1 iPhone 11. I have semi tethered jailbreak. ( have to re-jailbreak if phone turns off) I can download carbridge and use it but my screen is completely crooked and it’s the whole phone not just any app. Any tips ?

I am using a authentic lightning cable connecting my iPhone 6 to a Tiguan Allspace 2019 but it keeps coming up with a message "Unable to connect. Please check whether the mobile device supports Apple CarPlay. Please try again or, if possible, use a different USB port".
I have tried both USB ports and also restored the system to defaults and tried again, same error.
Any pointers/ideas how to fix please?

I have an aftermarket H/U that has CarPlay and an HDMI input, it’s wired it to play videos and games while the car is moving (I don’t do it, it’s for passengers). I had to sign a waiver to have it installed because it’s a 12 point moving violation if seen by a cop, if you hit and hurt/kill someone it’s treated like a DUI. Just an FYI

I have an old iPhone 6 Plus I only use on wifi. It’s still signed into my Apple ID, so it has my credit card and bank info saved etc. if I jailbreak will I be vulnerable? What can I do about it? Literally all I plan to do after jailbreaking is get carbridge so I can watch videos in my cars head unit

Ben Dover its not free, it costs like 5 US dollars. It wasnt worth it for me, i ended up updating my iphone because i wanted watchos 6 in my watch.
Ben Dover and also, its something exciting at once, but later its annoying. It works fine but its just easier (and mentally much more comfortable) to not have video playing in car while driving.

Look, it takes devs months to find exploits good enough for them to be able to create a jailbreak tool. If you are interested in jailbreaking your iPhone ( which I strongly suggest) it’s your responsibility to keep your phone on the lowest IOS version and don’t update the phone. Currently, there is a jailbreak that covers from IOS 12 to 12.1.2. You cannot longer downgrade

I’ve heard that people do this because of the monetization rules for RUclips. Minimum number of minutes long, have to get users to watch certain number of minutes, or something like that to be eligible for monetization.
