Pretty cool to think some kid somewhere has just bought this issue and Jim’s XY has just become the inspiration for a car to look back on in 20 years, as the one that started it all. The car that grabbed their interest.
I’ve been collecting street machine since 1986…and nearly have every edition …I stopped in 2020…to many missing edition so I kept every edition until 2010 …the 80s is my era …I still have the passion for Aussie and American Muscle …just not the time and effort any more ….having lots of XA-XB-XC & XE MODELS in coupes and sedans …SS Commodores im glad Street Machine is going strong after so many years …well done to every one keeping it strong and for the new generation to enjoy what we enjoyed 40 - 50 years ago
My adopted brothers LC Torana was on the front cover years ago, caused quite a stir, the yellow Torana with gear drive graphics going airborne (Photoshopped).
@@infoanalysistconspiracyrealist nice…my brother has a TD Cortina 392 cu cortina caged …fuel cell …750 + hp naturally aspirated …n0 NOS …no Turbo …no Blower….one of my best friends has the Black Mad Max Interceptor …I,just drive a Modded Toyota Hilux …GT falcons don’t do well living on the beach lol
Wonder why he didnt go the barra. Keep the aussie theme going. Still a masterpiece under the hood. Spectacular body and paint. Awsome investment. A credit to the workshop and all the boys involved. Cool back story on the car. Absolutely worthy cover for street machine mag an aussie institution.
Nice car & I hope the owner enjoys what he has spent, but it's not my thing. Great workmanship, btw, best money can buy. I'd prefer an owner build, may not be quite as flash, but that to me is far more impressive. But, different strokes... I'm sure some neanderthal will call me "jealous", but, not the case, believe what you wish. Thanks.
Epic car, Well done to everyone involved!
Awesome car, Bro! Cudos to the photographer and the modern tech available. The images almost look animated, painted, not like photos. Pretty cool.

Why would you want an XY GT sounding like a Barra? Not to mention how much more reliable a Coyote will be on more power...
does adam sell the shifter set up and surrounds ??
Yes he sells the top cover. Hit him up.
Fukin cool homies👊🔥🔥🔥🔥
What a fucken weapon 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
And we don't even hear the car start 🤦♂️
It's all about the photoshoot. but I saw a heard the car today and it sounds amazing.
Streetabke or raceable 😂 the thing doesn't even have a speck of dirt
only 2 things wrong with a coyote, that is, how much they cost and their not a Chevy
Can't stand the nose up stance and the Falcon was never a good looking car especially compared to the later Mk3 Cortina.
Jealous much 🤷🏽♂️😂😂
Lol cortina. 😂😂😂😂😂
You’re off your head. Today must Opposite Day 😂
@@Nocabishanienty75 not in the slightest. Each to their own but almost all 70s onwards Aussie Fords n Holdens are fugly to me.
@@Zedsdead83 Yup, Mk3 Tina/TC. So much more curvy than what the Falcon was. Quad round headlights though :)
So easy when you have the cash, but it still snaches in 2nd, money we dont got, lol 🙌🙌✌✌🦘🦘
