Can this be installed in any spa? even if the spa didn't come with an ozonator?

Okay, so my hot tub used to have one. It stopped working years ago. I just installed the MCD-55 Model. I have no idea how I know if its working or hooked up correctly... Also, the old one had just like a regular old school timer it was plugged into should I use that still or just let it run continuously? and lastly, on mine it has another hole with a black filter like thing in it is anything supposed to go in there?

Del seems to be one of the best ozonator brands. Hey, I recognize that spa, it's a QCA. Not all spas will have it setup this nice though, I think some have thicker hoses so I suppose you would need a coupling/reducer/adapter to match up with the smaller hose that comes with the Del kit? Seems like you have a very popular video here, thanks for posting.

Did the light come on on your ozonator once installed? I have mine installed and no light. How did you configure the wires into the plug? Black-space-White-Space? does it matter if it is White-Space-Black-Space? How do I check the voltage of the ozone plug?
