  • I get asked about our two story off road camper all the time. In this video I do a detailed walk through of our off road teardrop with 23 Zero Walkabout 62 and Annex on top. This setup has been amazing both off road and as a base camp.

    Might I add to this amazing video....he didn’t want the camper or the tent. He was a straight up hammock guy. And I was a hammock girl. But I convinced him and there’s no turning back now. Haha. You’re welcome.

    That trailer is now made by Intech. I don't know if they just changed names or bought them out, but you have what is now called the Flyer Chase model. I have the Flyer Pursue model, which is just 1 step bigger because it has a slide out kitchen. They are very hot right now and hard to get. I'm a little scared to pull mine on trails, even though that's what they're made for, but watching you do it is inspiring me to try it.

      @OzarkOverlandAdventures  3 года назад

      Actually the guy who made mine and the guy who makes Intech used to be partners and split ways several years ago. But yes they are basically the same. It performs very well off road. I just wish I could use a different axle with less bounce.

      @@OzarkOverlandAdventures I bought my InTech in mid 2019, and while doing research I learned that they had previously went by a different name, but never could find out what happened and why they started making the Flyer under the new name, so thats an interesting piece on info that I've wondered about. Thanks for the info. There is an InTech owners group of Facebook where everyone asks for help if they need it and share modifications that they've done to their camper. I'd bet lots of folks in the group would love to see your vids of you offroading with yours like you do.

    You should put some concrete anchors in your driveway in the proper spots needed so you can set your annex up and wash it out or whatever and then it have something to connect to instead of using stakes.

    How does keeping the bedding in your rent do when folding it up? Wouldn’t it fall to the center when folding it up and bunch up, making it harder to get the tent closed? Also, what bedding do you keep in there? I just got the same tent and am looking to add some as well

    Hey Matt! What do you do for security when you want to leave the camper and run some trails? Does the lock and roll hitch have locking mechanism to keep people from hooking up to it? Thanks!

    • @OzarkOverlandAdventures
      @OzarkOverlandAdventures  3 года назад +2

      Unless someone has the other end of the lock and roll hitch. which is pretty unlikely, there's no way they can take it.

    • @brulew976
      @brulew976 3 года назад +3

      @@OzarkOverlandAdventures I have a lock and roll hitch too and while I also think it's unlikely someone would take it they can easily unbolt it or use the chains to tow it. Best is to get a really good lock and a hardened chain to go through your wheel and around your axle. Yeah they can cut to that chain but it would take a long time and anyone that determined is a professional thief! We look at it as a low-cost insurance policy.

    What i would like to see is you folding up the RTT. I have a NoBO 10.6 and for me it is impossible to close that tent without climbing unsafely on the camper.
