Maddie def kind of appealed to me more than Jean. I do wish Scott would have been somewhat straightforward with Jean but as the new comic shows, that leads to chaos.
I remember seeing this issue from way early in Claremont's run where he had Cyclops whining about how "I'm cursed with THESE EYES--THESE LAZER SHOOTING EYES!!!" It's hilarious.
