I agree about joining rides and you end up being out for the day and not spending enough time with the kids. I’m going to the asbury park Halloween ride today and that’s exactly what’s happening. Spouse is spending the day with them instead.
Yea, I always try to make it up to them and do something fun either the next day or as soon as possible. Oh man, I was supposed to go on that ride, but, something came up and I missed out. Even had a costume planned and everything.

Make sure you follow erocks group on FB. “NJ PEV Group rides”. There’s always announcements about group rides there as well.
