DIY Flatfile: Making an inexpensive, light and practical flat file

Building a DIY Flat File
I needed a flat file to store my lovely printing papers, so I decided to make my own.
Flat files are usually quite expensive, very large and heavy and I just don't have the space for more furniture at the moment.
A few simple shelves made of sturdy honeycomb cardboard and cardboard boxes, stuck together with wood glue. It's so light I can just put it on top of my wardrobe or move it to a different spot easily if I feel like it. The boxes make it easy to remove or add shelves.
I'm keeping all my lovely printing paper there and it's so easy to get access to it!
I bought the honeycomb cardboard sheets in Boesner (my local art supplies shop), but you'll find them if you search online.
Really happy with it and it was so much fun to make! I hope you enjoy the video!

Hi, I mention the materials in the description. They are all pretty generic, so I can't really post links. The boxes are from a random shop I found in my area, the glue is common wood glue 🤷‍♀️ the only thing that may be more difficult to find is the cardboard sheets, but you can search online for "honeycomb cardboard sheets".
