Lol when I was in love, I used to brag about the girl, post the girl, loved to be in her presence, loved everything about this girl until she take do me. We were together for a very long time, over 4 years and I actually thought she was the one. I could sacrifice anything for this girl but after she take do me and I stopped posting her. Friends and family kept asking me about her and my funfooling friends used to send me pictures of the girl and I we used to post. Mind you, she had moved on and I was still battling with the heartbreak. Since then I adviced myself not to post any girl I'm in a relationship with. Cos I've come to a realisation that it can cast anytime therefore Adey use my head not my heart anymore. When they say toxic guys were once lover boys, it's true. So this is the reason I don't post my relationship on social media.

The new guy is correct! People only share things on social media for 2 reasons - 1 to monetize it later on OR 2, to get validation from other people. If it were not true, you would keep your photos in your phone. Or, you would turn your comments off. Or you would remove all your followers so you can say s3 you're just posting it for yourself. Or you would only post the stories in your private stories with your closest friends alone. You fi reason am anyhow you want but that is the crux of it.
I am a girl and I used to be the type that posts everything I do on IG. But one day, I was about to post a story then I asked myself WHY and I had to humbly admit to myself that actually, though I THINK I don't care what anyone thinks, I care enough to show it to them in the first place.

Being in a private relationship doesn't mean you won't post your partner but protecting your whatever you share. Let's not deceive ourselves, 90% of people, especially ladies post or share things in their relationship for validation. Being private is not about hiding the partner but learning to be discrete and it only takes someone who also share the same idea with you. Other than that, you may think you're being private but the other partner hotspot the relationship.
