OMG Ashley...4 years! Wishing you all the best my dear. As a fellow 1991 baby just Sept instead of Nov its nice to hear from people my age. Being the oldest sibling made me incredibly independent so I know where Joan is coming from. I spent most of my 20s taking care of my family financially and my younger siblings. Its honestly very hard to rely on anyone when you've always been the one who people rely on. I do think Korea doesn't have the same pressure as US to have kids. Everyone here keeps talking about biological clock and being 32 it honestly gives me anxiety. Wishing you both an enlightening year and always be sure to pursue your truth and happiness. 😊

I relate sooo much to Joan saying she treats every friendship like relationship! Im in the same boat where i dont want situationships and i keep falling into them. After a really intense 10 month situationship that borderline was a relationship I realized that situationships happen because I'm not demanding enough and drawing hard boundaries and making situationships an option to a guy. I feel like guys definitely choose no responsibility vs a relationship everytime. I have to be harder and say hey this is what I want if you're not on board there are other people out there and you can see yourself out.
It still pains me that idols have to hide relationships due to "fan" backlash (as we've seen with aespa's Karina literally putting out an apology for having a relationship today... She's a grown ass woman, ffs). Just one of the many issues I've had with the industry and the pushing of parasocial relationships... Anyway.
Maybe its just my age, but I feel like I just want people to be happy, whether they're an idol I follow or not lol I will never meet 99.99% of these people, how deluded do I have to be to think I have a chance at a relationship with any of them 🤣🤣

Wow, four years!! It's cool that you finally felt able to let us know, it's got to be a difficult balance to try and live a fulfilling life while having to hide a large aspect of it. I remember in one of the videos a lot of comments were joking about Ash's boyfriend being the camera man, looking back now that was probably correct! hey girlies, as far as relationships go all i can advise is to always believe in and have intent on having exactly what you desire coming to fruition. when you consciously and intentionally set a desire it will come to you. just know what you want and have faith in it happening because all experiences are available to us. this is coming from a content single 24 yo so i definitely don’t feel the anxiety or pressure but i also am constantly in the process of accepting and being more comfortable in not desiring a romantic relationship despite never having one either. with or without a partner we’re still beautiful whole human beings. all i know is know exactly what you want out of life and it will come to you in time. 😗✨ i hope all is going well and amazing with your relationship ashley you have every right to keep that private.
