- I'm out on an overnight wild camp in the Norfolk Broads, on the River Bure with my canoe.
In this video I'm setting up my NIGHT CAT LAY-FLAT HAMMOCK. Over the top I'm supporting my DD hammock 3x3 tarp.
The usual camp fire and food with a BAVARIA Zero alcohol beer.
Over night in the rain.
Waking up with a cold! but a comfy night sleep.

I have watched loads of camping videos and hands down I enjoyed this video the most. Very well done without the ego of( I know it all attitude) of lots of previous videos I've seen. AWESOME JOB!
@COOSA6870 thanks so much. I really appreciate the feedback 👍🏻🙏😊
I love the hammock set-up. Something I would definitely like to try myself but minus the cold!
It would be great in Thailand 🇹🇭 👍🏻
I really enjoyed this Andrew. Not just the hammock but the whole video. Thank you 👌👏👏👏👍
That's great to hear! Thanks very much.
I've used a hammock that was set up almost the same way but used spreader bars at the ends. Now I use a jungle hammock and can sleep on the diagonal in it which is almost flat. I also use a rain fly ( tarp ) over the hammock for rain protection. It allows for ventilation and visibility of the surrounding area. That Night Cat appears to be a good hammock. Over here in the states we have the flat hammocks styles , one term for them is " bridge hammock ". I have found most hammocks with a spacer bar ( or that style ) at the ends tends to be tipsy.
Brilliant comment. I didn't know they were called something different in the States. Cheers and all the Best.🇺🇸🇬🇧
Same mate 😊
Excellent! Can't wait to get them both out! Hope you are feeling better, am also recovering from the lurgy 😞
Once strapped out with tension, the hammock was very stable. Its worth putting the tension straps lower on a tree trunk. Yes, looking forward to a shared camp. Cold lurgy thingie passed after 3 days...
You are absolutely right with the set up 👍@@divum
Wauw, that hammock looks beautifull and comfortable. Expensive, I guess? But when your sleeping, is it possible to roll over to the other side? Thanks for the video
Yes, you can roll over and side sleep. I think it's a very nice design. They are about £160/€180 on Amazon
@@divum Outdoor Gear Essentials £149...often low stock though?
Not for me xxxx 4 star hotel or above !!!!!!!! But great video keep em coming !!! xxxx
But in a hotel room you don't hear the rain or feel your bed rocked by the wind.....oh yer...that's why you stay in them!🤣
Thanks for your support 👍🏻
so expensive tho (crying face) I really want this now !
expensive relative to what? Its nearly half the price of the Haven?
@@lauriebloggs8391 £152.99 ????? Not everyone is living rich or wealthy
The company’s website doesn’t readily state the INSIDE dimensions. Is there enough sleeping space inside to accommodate a person who is 6’4” (193cm)?
Great comment. I'm 1.91 meters tall or about 6'3" and I found the hammock spacious. I hope this helps
I am 6'4" and 100kg.......yes there is space enough 🙂
Checkout OutdoorGearEssentials, thier prices can be very good.........
I'm 6'4"....and yes, see Andrews follow up video. The interior is 7' long.
Think you could fit two in there?
Not really. It's a reasonable size but not enough room for two. (Maybe 1 plus a dog?!!🐕😄)
Alot of packaging
