Tonal outfits, or monochrome if you prefer the 'proper' terminology, can be one the easiest ways to make your outfits feel chic and put together. I am a tonal look girl. I love the easiness of the style. I love the simplicity of the shades. Most of all getting dressed is fun. There are so many combinations when styling this way that it's hard to choose which look i want. Thanks for a great video.
Love your content and chanel❤. Keep up the great work. But if I'm allowed to just say that I'll skip on Lily Silk. I don't know a youtuber who has not advertised their products. it puts me off the brand.
I love Lily Silk, it’s the dominant brand in my wardrobe by far, I only buy natural-fibers/materials. For those who have sizing issues, they do offer free custom-sizing in, I think, all their woven-fabric items. Delivery takes longer, 3 to 4 weeks to me here in San Francisco, and custom-made items aren’t returnable. (Stock items take 3 to 5 days to deliver here, once shipped). But, it’s so worth it, assuming you take your measurements accurately, their items will fit perfectly. No other clothing brand offers custom-made for free, and very few offer it at all, at any price. I can’t think of a single brand that does, actually, and I shop high-end). (No brand affiliations, just an average consumer who likes to share great brands.)

That’s amazing, certainly for those ladies who are tall/petite and struggle to find beautiful clothes that will fit right. I love monochrome outfits….so easy to put together and it always works.
I am happy to say that I am one of those people who have always colour coordinated my wardrobe, even my underwear, it makes it so much easier to get ready in the mornings.

Monochromatic outfits just feel so nice to wear don't they Gail, and an easy style tip to reach for in those 'don't know what to wear' moments! Very impressed that even your underwear is colour coordinated! I must admit I tend to go for quite boring t-shirt bras most of the time as I'm always changing outfits and need it to work, but I should probably up my game in that area! Monochrome outfits I enjoy wearing, I find it really easy and useful for work.
I’ve managed somehow to collect pieces that I can dress up for work and for when I’m not at work, I didn’t realise how well I’d done haha.
It’s such a lovely feeling when you’re happy with your wardrobe and all I need to do now is buy a new t-shirt because the other one I’ve warn to death. Aa feeling of contentment is just wonderful.
I’ve just finished a long weekend shift so relaxing and catching up this end of the day.

I love your style, Jess. Could you please do some early spring skirt and dress looks? I wear these nearly every day, but temperatures are still cool here in California, in the low to mid-60Fs most days (we have had two weird heat waves already, though). In lighter colors, if possible. I rarely wear black, and I crave lighter spring colors like blues, greens, pinks, taupes/beiges/browns and white/cream. Thanks for considering my request❤

I am definitely partial to a bit of tough tough tough however, that'll be my rock chick side coming out!! Altho some might describe it as rough rough rough 😳🤭. LILY SILK…TOO EXPENSIVE!
Well i personally think pure silk or cashmere any cheaper than what they're offering and it would be the machinists who would end up having to take the flak for that smaller margin. Pure silk is not meant to cost £40.
Sadly I have to report Lilysilk have been a nightmare to deal with. Firstly when I ordered a size small and medium outfit to ensure fit, they sent 2 medium garments, although the boxes stated small & medium., the garments both had medium tags. Communication with them is terrible. You can’t call them, they are slow to respond and left hand doesn’t seem to know what right hand is doing. Finally after many emails to them & they wanted photographs to prove their error, I got an RMA required to return the items and pay for the return myself! Which is frankly a bit of a cheek. The items also took way too long to arrive, so goodness knows when I will get refunded. Sorry but although many items look nice, service terrible , not what is expected from this price point.

I ordered both the red and white and royal and white. I was so disappointed in the size and not shiny. I wanted shiny 😩😩😩. I actually think the Matt version looks like cheap silk lookalike but that’s just my opinion. They look fab on the influencers. Not on me sadly.
I had a similar experience the first and only time I was “influenced” to buy a Lily Silk garment. I found the item to be short, wide, and not of the best quality. I will never purchase from them again.
