This was a great watch, Dennis! I miss the tele lens as well when I moved to the iPhone 12, zooming in doesn't quite have the same effect 😄
Agreed 😭 this lens definitely helps a lot but I really miss the telephoto lens some days when I can't take the time to attach it haha

Hey thank you for the video. 58mm looks really noisy on your samples is it usually the same? The basic 26mm lens makes much smoother pics regarding the fact that there is plenty if of light on your samples so it's not because of high iso.
Can we take portrait mode photos with tele lens attached?
You can, but they aren't very reliable in my experience. The phone software has a hard time capturing edges correctly with the lens on unfortunately! Still possible though for sure.
@@CortesArts That’s why Moment has their own app for use with their lenses.

Thanks for the video! What is your experience with the telephoto lens for iPhone 12 mini to capture birds or insects at a distance of 12 to 15 feet?
It's great! You won't be able to get super close up shots at that distance unfortunately, but the zoom helps as well as the focal length adjustment.

For some reason I can't find the case for the 12 mini. Is it discontinued?
Yes it is unfortunately, you could maybe find it secondhand though!
Do you have any pics showing the zoom capability of the telephoto lens on the 12 mini? I can get great pics with my phone but when it comes to distance only have 2x optical zoom.
The 12 Mini unfortunately does not have a telephoto lens! Getting this lens adds that capability, you can see samples in the video

I love it to be honest! The iPhone 12 Mini size is great to help my wrists (carpal tunnel) and feels a lot more natural in hand than the others. It's very light and all apps work and run just fine on it. I also haven't had any issues with battery life and I'm on my phone 3-4 hours a day. Hope that helps!
Great review, do the magnetic strong enough to sit tight on Belkin MagSafe car mount ? Thanks
Thanks for the kind words! And yes, the magnet is incredibly strong and would definitely hold with the car mount. Moment makes their own mount as well using the same case so that should be fine!
Hi Dennis, does the moment case need the drop in lens mount for the extra 5$?
It does, but if you buy the case it comes with one already so no need to buy it separately!
Does the fisheye not work on the mini?
It does! I only own the Macro and Tele lens though, as those were more in line with the type of photography I am looking to do 🙂
