100% agreement on your final words there - I always enjoy heading back out to icebreaker after I finish to give the first timers and those fighting to get to the finish line some encouragement and recognition of their effort.
Great video, and easily more fun to watch than the videos of someone's HR pegged from the start! It was awesome to see you not only shuttle bottles for your wife, but also help so many folks along the way, and enjoy the conversation at the same time. I rode my second Iceman this year and enjoyed it, too. Great community of riders!
Great video and what a great example you are! Very impressed with your willingness to help your fellow bikers out along the way!!!! Way to support your wife as well!!
Heck yeah!! Great job!! It only gets easier. My first year I road it in 4:10. 9 years later I’m down 60 lbs and did it in 2:37 and never put a foot down till the end. What a great event.
@veecox2118 heck yeah! When you get to the end, the crowd will be in full force to really get you pumped up to finish! I got my wave assignment and I'm in 25.
Love the support! I’d do the same thing if my wife gave it a shot. I was the guy on the fatty that complimented you on the fox ears and said foxes are my club’s mascot.
That's awesome! Friendly people like you are why I love riding events. Maybe your wife would try the Slush? That's where mine started. That taste was enough fun to work up to Iceman.

Same. :)

Fabulous perspective, thanks for sharing that. I hope to see you there in '24, it'll be my first time.
What a great video. Different from the other Iceman videos I've watched. Love it!!
I usually race Wave 1 or Pro. But this wave looks like WAYYYYY more fun!! So cool. Hope you guys come back this year.

Nice work! I put my foot down every ride. Terrible at eating on the bike. 😆
2024 will be my first time, and I hope I have as much fun as you guy's
Last year was my first time and it is a BLAST!! Dont overthink things and ride your ride! Wave 48 was my wave, literally the last one.
Yup, they put me in wave 47. Lol

I bet you will! It's hard not to have fun when you're riding bikes with 5000 like-minded people! 😄
Awesome closing remark!!!
Nice job & way to stick together, you both should be proud to have finished that race strong! New sub here from Philadelphia, Pa
It was my first year and I had a BLAST! I started back in 48. LOL!

the crowd experience is the best there
Absolutely. Plenty of other great races and supportive crowds, but this one will always have its own type of energy.
Looking at that soft dirty the Fattie with fast roller tyres I think is the way to go for this ride.
nice couple and a good husband!
