Small Bust Adjustment How-To

I recently had a double mastectomy...so no bust apex anymore. How do I adjust for that? Close the dart completely? Can't wrap my head around it. Thanks for your help

I can see how the bust has been reduced but as the pattern fit except for the bust wouldn't it now be too tight as the body width has also been reduced.
