I want to invest $400k in profit-yielding dividend shares but am not sure which to buy into because dividend-paying stocks don't give rapid price growth and can provide a steady income stream.

It's unfortunate most people don't have such information. I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $30k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Doesn't matter if the economy is misbehaving; great wealth managers will always make returns.

I have been a dividend focused investor for a long time. This does not mean I don't own growth stocks, I do. A well rounded portfolio should be a mixture of both categories. I invest in the market, but never put all my money in market.
The strategies are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skillset/knowledge to pull such trades off
I can only speak from my experience when I advise seeking professional advice. It looks like a smart bet if you don't know where to get an experienced one, but if you don't know anything about the market.

Hmmm…something doesn’t seem quite right…HRL portfolio after 30 years worth $2.4M generating an annual dividend of $0.8M?? Doesn’t that imply a 33% yield?
Think of it this way: suppose you start with 100 shares that pay a 2% yield. After reinvesting and buying more shares, let's say you have 200 shares and still receive a 2% yield.
However, since the calculator cannot yet calculate the additional shares, it shows as 100 shares paying a 4% yield.
@@Johnsmoneyadventuresbut, the model says the shares are worth $2.4M (regardless of the number of shares) and delivering $0.8M in annual dividends. How about I don’t invest the $10K today. Are you suggesting that I could invest $2.4M in 30 years and get a 33% yield? That is what your model is saying.
