Do you think it will dip after the split before it skyrockets? That seems to be the rule more often than not. It's happened to me with Amazon, Google, and others although they're doing very well now. I just wonder if now is not the right time to add more NVDA to my portfolio.
@@lucillekenney8311 they just came out with the Blackwell chip and that's coming out the first quarter of the fiscal year of 2025 which is October, November, December. They're going to start installing Blackwell chips then so you better get in before that starts happening.

So many stock market bloggers hyping nd damping stocks. Not clear what’s their agenda by bad mouthing Nvidia. I have been ignoring this type of analysis good or bad for years. If you’re a long term holder, just buy more on the dips and that’s probably my Nvidia is up seven digits. Good luck!
Best investments for passive income (monthly)-retirement planning?
Everything makes sense, but I passed on Netflix and Amazon years ago due to crazy PE's and kicked myself for it. I like NVIDIA from a pick and shovel play. AI software companies will come and go but they all need the hardware to play and NVIDIA is still the standard setter. I'm not buying but plan to keep my existing shares for a bit.

You are a fundamental investor. Warren Buffett is a fundamental investor. His average annual rate of return is only 10% for the past 30 years, I play the stock market by the charts. Everything that is going on is factored into the charts. There is no point following all these separate fundamental things.

“Could” is the right term. But “won’t”. Nvidia has taken 90% of the market. It is around 2 years ahead of everyone else. It has the best people working for it. It will continue to be a market leader. The Blackwell is the future. I would not bet against Nvidia here. At forward 26 p/e ,it is cheap . I sold all my other semi conductor stocks and at this point only own Nvidia. Because it is clear. Winner takes all at this point.

I'm glad this analysis helped! Definitely be careful of the "FOMO" - timing the market is near impossible, don't beat yourself up (an old saying is 'nobody ever got hurt taking profits')
Start adding Nvidia now at 840. Nvidia is about 2 years ahead of competition and has taken 90% of the market. True it won t grow like crazy but still by 30% for 2 years. After that maybe still be a leader. No one knows.

3m doesn’t have a healthcare business. It’s called solventum. It does have HIS ai projects and is the highest growth opportunity. They need to prove it.
