Sir, I'm compelled to drop a comment as regards your point. Right now as we speak, Russia's economy has grown X3 compared to what they had before the war.
    The reasons are clear.
    1. Russia is currently and ACTIVELY doing business with BRICS nations and Asia combined.
    2. The Asian market is bigger than that of Europe and U.S combined (in terms of number)
    3. There is a big oil racket going on between Russia, Pakistan, China and India.
    What's the racket?
Russia sells oil (at heavily discounted rate) to the above mentioned countries who now refine and resell to other countries at the the regular market price. Very simple and clean business.
Sir, the U.S and the west are the ones with Ego NOT Putin. The continuous disregard for NATO expansion is enough for Putin to take action.
And, I'm really sorry for the U.S and Europe because they seem to have short memory as regards how resilient, tough and strategic Russia can be in trying times.
Napoleon of France tried Russia's strength and he failed. Hitler tried and failed. So, what makes Biden, Boris Johnson, Macron and the rest of them think they can suffocate Russia??
Let's talk about profile and mental capacity as well. Putin is more qualified than any President / Head of state in this world.
America want's to be / remain the number 1 country in control (without giving room to any other country to develop) and that's the reason why they like to create war and unrest.
Russia is taking Ukraine bit by bit. And to be sincere, there is nothing America / NATO are going to do about it.
They made a big mistake of testing Russia's strength to the point where they had to put boots in Ukraine.
Ukraine will fall. It's just a matter of time.

Only if we find a leader that likes Nigeria like Putin loves Russia.
Putin had so many times asked the U.S for a sit down discussion regarding this issue of expansion of NATO to Russia's door step. The US kept brushing off the matter because they only understand the language of strength not diplomacy.
Zelensky came into power in Ukraine with the campaign promise to make peace reign in the Donbass area. He got elected, Yet no peace, instead, Ukraine was actually preparing for a full on assault on the Russian minorities in the Donbass area - this was what prompted Putin to invaded as at when he did. And Putin only regret was not invading much sooner because; Zelensky was a pawn of the U.S to solidify their hegemony using NATO alliance.
Zelensky naively played into the West hand and it's clear with the West objectives are in Eastern Europe. Weaken Russian, break it up into smaller countries so it won't be powerful enough to challenge the U.S rule based order. Putin would never let that happen.

WHAT ARE YOU CALLING "US RULE BASED ORDER"? WHAT RULES? RULES WHICH USA MAKES AND BREAK AT WILL? A UNIPOLAR WORLD CONTROLLED BY UNCLE SAM IS THE GROUND FOR WORLD WAR III.

Please read books on this issue. Do not listen to the uneducated and ignorant, who are not experts. Books such as Sergiy Plokhiy's excellent Russo-Ukraine War, The War Came to Us by Christopher Miller, these are the kinds of books that will give you real insight, from people who actually understand the causes of the war.

Good for you , u chose your fights wisely. As for Russian security letting strategic weapons near its borders its a grave mistake, of which i agree with them. Invading Ukraine is a Russian effort to prevent a major war , of which i also agree. Forget about NATO expansion. Think of a coup that toppled the democratically elected president of Ukraine. Maybe then u will understand the Russian position of this war.

What weapons were being stationed on Russia's border in 2014 when they invaded? Did you know that Russia used Ukrainian weapons against Ukraine, weapons that Ukraine gave to Russia in 1994 in exchange for security guarantees? So, Ukraine had given up its weapons, and gave them to Russia, so what weapons are you talking about?

@@captain_relaxo annexation of Crimea, was a result of Ukraine government forces killing Russians living in the areas Russia has recently occupied. In case u not aware , Ukraine was part of the soviet union. Ukraine never gave weapons to Russia.
