The fact that I am 10 minutes in to the video and you guys havent plugged your Patreon yet is a disservice to yourselves! You are such brilliant people, role models and creators. You are an alternative, quality approach in this flooded market. Trust your beautiful community want to support you. The traditional RUclips route isnt working, so genuinely, truely and deeply ASK US to fund you, and do it up front. Remind your community that the sustainability of your unique content is dependent on direct support, because its just not the sort of stuff that is thriving in the algorithm... that doesn't mean we don't value the hell out of it. Best of luck, you all inspire me. ❤
13 minutes in, good on you for getting there. I get that you hate asking, but VALUE YOUR GIFTS! We value it, we want you around. Put faith in your worth, we see it, don't neg yourself out or put yourself down about it for asking 💓
I think it's time to do a bit of a Spiffing Brit. If you see this comment, watch the video, then restart it and play it at the slowest speed, it'll mean the video is gonna be hella long, but let it run in the background and it'll give the channel 400% engagement for this video. It'll hopefully shoot 'em up the algorithm and get them some more views, subs, members, etc. Then do it with the next video and the next.
I'm a dumbass when it comes to technology. First can u do this on a phone and second how do you slow the video down? Thanks for any help you can provide.
@@thomasbraden8242 In the bottom right of the video playing, there is a small logo that looks like a Gear. click on that and it should allow you to adjust the speed settings.
Genuinely think you guys are objectively one of the highest-quality content creators in the miniature hobby space on youtube, and I'm kind of regretful of not watching your every upload now. I wish I or anyone could provide you with a miraculous idea or solution that would make this channel thrive, but I reckon you guys have considered every single angle at this point. Truly wish you guys the best and hope the existence of this channel continues in some form for many years to come. Cheers
Thankyou - Not only for your comment but also for respectfully assuming that we have actually thought of and tried every angle we could - We arent sitting on our bums, we've been trying our guts out! We will keep trying, thanks again
This! It’s so frustrating, I have seen some many creators basically being shut down due to the algorithm and my favorite creators are never in my recommended anymore 😢
It's nothing to do with the algorithm that people aren't interested in watching your videos. What on earth do you think people who look for tabletop hobbying are getting recommended instead?
@@clinch4402 In my case this channel puts out videos I am interested in but they only rarely get pushed to my youtube homepage, I have to manually seek out this channel often.
The fact that a channel with 250k subscribers can't be profitable goes to show that YT doesn't reward their creators appropriately for the work they do. YT is the biggest content streaming platform by far, it makes billions in advertising for Google and passes on an absolute pitance to the creators who without them, YT would not have any viewers to show their ads. This has got to change.
What it is, is that its balanced around the lowest effort content possible. Here a team of 3 main talent plus any editors and cameramen isn't a profitable, because the system assumes 1 person filming a minecraft video for 20 minutes with minimal editing, and pays accordingly.
hate to say it but if youtube will screw over channels by not supporting channels appropriately with paying them for ads then screw youtube run ad blockers, before covid you only needed 5000 subs and a active 500 views to be paid but now you need 10,000 subs and over 5000 views in the first hour to get paid, ive looked into what it takes and its a pain, i remember when youtube used to be able to support people who were going through hard times and needed to open youtube channels to help make money, I guess those days are over.
I hear you, but I honestly think you're not seeing the broader picture. Are you okay with A LOT more ads, and RUclips forcing you to watch those ads (i.e. RUclips blocking adblockers)? That's what it would take for a channel this size to sustain just one person, not talking about three. Ads, especially ads in this market segment, doesn't pay a lot. If you were doing content that matched higher paying ads it could maybe work, like makeup, or whatever the heck Mr Beast is doing. I've done RUclips content for ten years, and I realized long ago it's basically pointless to try to go full time before you reach a million subscribers. This is why most people do not live off RUclips, when they're talking about going full time what they're really saying is that the RUclips income is one revenue stream, but they need to have several others (sponsorships, brand deals, merch, Patreon etc) to balance it out and make it sustainable. Being full time means doing a lot more than just RUclips content, unless you're a content farm. Putting all your eggs in the RUclips basket is super volatile. RUclips could change their algorithm over night and your sole income stream could be tanked.
Feels small for a channel with minum 3 full time staff though. Sucks but it looks very hard to make a buck doing terrian and minis and things of that nature on youtube. I've been into thist stuff for years and see a few great creators leave.
As a fellow Aussie I love that you guys are here as in this space there isnt many creators from down under in this space. Best of luck with it all and hope you guys manage to continue on
I just discovered this channel a few weeks ago during a hospital stay where my wife was getting several lenghty surgeries. Your videos got me through those long hours in the waiting room. I probably watched 100 of them during that time. I know sentiment doesn't pay the bills, but you guys helped me get through some tough times. Wishing you all the best.
Totally understand where you guys are at. I’m a Melbourne based tattooer and the arse has basically fallen out of my industry. People just don’t have spare cash for anything when they have to feed their kids. I love what you guys do and it keeps me company while I hobby. I hope you guys stick around, in whatever form that takes!
Absolutely love you guys. It's hard running a channel that involves a large studio. Multiple on camera personalities editors and what not. Hope you figure out a way to keep things going without downsizing but downsizing might be your only real option
@andydogdad4349 but how would go? I couldn't imagine the channel with out all three of them, its like a sitcom family I've watched week in week out, I don't want any one to leave
Cost of living has skyrocketed thanks to profiteering by essentials providers (looking at you, coles and woolworths with your billions in profits posted yet complaining of increased purchasing prices). It's pretty shitty here.
hi from a tattooer across the ocean in usa, our industry is shitty right now but keep your head up amigo. the weak will leave and the pie will grow for the true pirates
I’ve been following Jazza for so long I do truly believe his channel is the first channel that I truly was so excited to watch every single video for as soon as it came out. I would check every single day for new uploads just in case the notifications didn’t come through. I still remember the day that he first started selling his art prints and the originals of his character design sessions. Multiples of which I have on my wall to this day. I wasn’t there for the very beginning of his RUclips journey but as far as our RUclips journey together I couldn’t be happier. I can truly say I’ve never seen a video on any of the channels I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. The passion, creativity, skill, and downright awesomeness that everyone who has worked on these videos has displayed has gotten me through more than a few bad times. For that I am eternally grateful. As I have gotten older I haven’t stuck with Tabletop Time, the Jazza channel, or Insert Art anywhere near as much as I wish I did. “Life got in the way” I would say. But I would still see the notifications on my phone from time to time and know that I was missing out on amazing new things that you have all put so much work into for us. I just want to say thank you. Thank you so much for sharing your art with us and showing us the possibilities that are out there. I will continue to support this channel as much as I can. It’s truly the least I can do for how much you have all done for me. Thank you for keeping me company on all of those long nights growing up. I pray that we as a community will find a way to give you all the stability and growth that we have all always wished for. Thank you, thank you so much.
I love tabletop time and everything you do. I hope you can find a way to save the channel, and even if it doesn't work out and it all has to end, you have already given so much to the community and made so many incredible things that will be here forever. Good luck, and thanks for all the videos.
Hope you guys can pull through this rough time. Your content is and has always been top quality. Fingers crossed that this move helps you guys grow to a point where you can return full time.
I look forward to ANYTHING and EVERYTHING from TTT. The longer format lore and history videos. The game boards. Collaborations. Everything! You have inspired me to continue my hobby journey and inspired me to create and spread the love. I hope hope hope whatever happens TTT won't fail.i love all of you and truly appreciate the full transparency that you guys have... i will do my part!
This seems like responsible decision. Yes the algorithm is probably deeply involved for many creators. All the best for the future and maybe things will change or evolve. Much love ❤️
I sometimes take for granted how lucky I've been to have found the channel so early. All these wonderful memories, projects, and conversations I've been privileged enough to be a part of as a viewer and patreon mean so much to me. This was hard to watch. Very hard to watch, but in a very good way. The way that really makes me realize how much I've come to reley on these videos and the community around them in my routine, and general happiness! Yall are absolutly right. Times are tough, and they have been for a while. Speaking for myself, and assumadily many others, You all have consistently made these times a lot better. The love, passion, and care yall have for what you do speaks numbers to your characters, as well as the fantastic works you end up producing. I never EVER have mini painted before finding this channel. Over these last few (four now? Maybe?) years, yall have not only shown a fantastic new hobby, but you've cultivated an incredibly kind and supportive community to reach out into for support, critique, and general companionship. I've always said no better judge of someone's character is to see who they attract, and your community stands behind, and beside you. I'm also incredibly touched with how well spoken it was. It was real, yall weren't sugar coating anything, but it was also respectful. Not that I would expect anything less of the authors, narrators, GMs, and storytellers that make up this channel. I can only beg for RUclips to see and appreciate the immense amount of your souls that you've scraped out for what you do. I don't think its fair that this video had to be made, but my adoration of yall is proven to be correctly placed with how you've presented yourself. I have nothing but love for my mini presidents! With everything else going on, I can only promise that I'll be here for the long haul, and I hope that haul lasts for many many more years to come. 💙
Tris with you supporting us, we feel like we can do anything. You're the best. We appreciate every moment we've gotten to share with you in our community for these years - And it aint over yet!
Your videos helped me through one of the worst times in my life and also got me into the hobby. I really hope that this situation ends well for you and I'm sorry that this is happening.
Me and my grandad used to paint minis together. When he passed away i found your channel that night and you helped me all the way. I hope we can keep the channel going because i know I'm not the only one who youve helped ❤
Thanks for sharing the struggles guys. It's obvious you all work so hard. Just to add to those stories Jen, you also inspired my partner to paint :) Hoping for the best for you wonderful souls - now time to play all your videos in the background and buy some merch!
Thankyou so much for the donation - I'm so proud of the impact Jenn has had in the community, she is a super star - Murray too but hey, this is about Jenn - Dave
I don't interact much beyond being a regular viewer, but given the situation you guys are in, I just wanted to say that I always enjoy the videos and the energy that you bring to them. The inspiration you've given me to take the plunge and start some larger projects is something I will always be grateful for. Good luck, guys!
Shit, that is a rough go 😢 I've always enjoyed how this channel feels like the kind of TV I absolutely loved watching after school as a kid, like same league as Good Game if anyone remembers that one. I hope you can make the numbers work and keep it going!
Honestly one of my favorite channels of all time! Murrays painting, Daves builds and Jen holding the team together with her artistic skills and amazing ideas. I love yalls videos and 40k roleplay. I really want this channel to be around for years to come.
My husband and I love you guys. We watch your videos on date nights when the kids are in bed. You inspire us and help us not to feel so alone in the hobby space. Do what’s right for you guys- but know that there’s two Canadian nerds who are wishing you well, and will never forget you. ❤❤
Honestly, I think I found your channel less than a year ago. I can only support by watching your videos to try helping the algorithm. But this channel has helped me. I'm into a new hobby. It helps me to understand what my boyfriend is talking about when he talks about miniatures. It helps me to have something to bond over with my boyfriend. It's great. This channel helped me find my own hobby community where I live, and I am forever grateful for it.
Engagement for the Engagement God! Views for the View Throne! Love you guys, and it's been wonderful seeing so many new folks flooding into the Discord.
I have watched whatever I could from you all over the years. Yours is one of the channels that got me into mini painting (although I haven't painted in a bit). I remember when Jazza first went to your hobby store all those years ago and have tried to watch every time i see a new video.
I'm usually just a lurker in online platforms, but I'll try to comment here and there as I truly appreciate everything that goes into these channels and everything that comes out of it. I hope you guys pull through and get what you need to keep doing what you love. It is inspiring and enjoyable to watch.
Make a fundraiser livestream. Seriously. You can paint stuff, play stuff, talk about stuff, auction off stuff or whatever. You'll get some attention, have some fun, maybe get some support by other creators in the hobby space, etc. And you should be able to get some new patreons and most importantly raise a big lump of cash you can plan around.
You guys were one of the main reasons I got into 40K seeing all the cool stuff you’ve done really made me want to do stuff like that. I really liked working out and between that and having so much work to do I didn’t really have any other hobbies. One day for a combination of reasons my back got majorly messed up. I couldn’t walk for a day or two couldn’t and still can’t work out cant run and walking and sitting hurt like hell. During that I rediscovered your guys videos and it really helped get into a better place mentally and helped me get into 40K and get a hobby. I’m sorry for rambling I just want to say thank you guys you really improved my life thank you
I'm so thankful for you guys. You all inspired me to not only DM but also motivated me to create worlds that other people can relish in. Writing, DMing, painting, you guys showed me that i could do it and gave me resources to be able to do it well. Thank you so so much.
This is one of those videos that hits hard. All these guys have done for my personal hobby and everyone they've helped. Still at one video a week we will watch and continue to enjoy all of it.
It's been at least 2 years that I have enjoyed the channel. I think I saw a solo video with Jazza that got me here. I have 16 different painting channels I enjoy, at the moment......There are so many creators out there I don't even know about. DON'T STOP PLEASE !
"I've been watching you guys for about three years, and I have to say that you are some of my favorite RUclipsrs doing the 40K thing. I'm an off-again, on-again player, but more of a painter and terrain maker as a hobbyist. All of you have inspired me in different ways, encouraging me to try new things and techniques. I really appreciate all of you for that. Too Jen: yes, I'm a father of a daughter who loves 40K because of you, so I hope you guys stick around even longer. I wish I could support you more than this." Know that you are love and respected 💯
Back in the summer of 2021, I came down with Covid. Stuck in bed, isolating from my partner so she wouldn't get sick, feeling like hell, and not interested in watching any of my usual RUclips channels... just, the malaise that comes with the disease made everything feel dull and colorless. So, in a desperate bid to give my brain *something* to pump some dopamine over, I searched "warhammer painting tutorial," because I wanted to watch someone do something with their hands, and I had fond memories of painting (badly) Orks and Space Marines in middle school. Now, to be honest, the first video I watched was from Midwinter Minis, but Tabletop Time was maybe the third or fourth, and they quickly became one of my favorites. I've always admired the production values and the sheer passion you all have for the hobby. I always figured I'd just be someone who watched other people paint and kitbash... but eventually, you gave me the bug! I've got a couple squads of third-party "Greater Good" minis sitting next to my desk right now, slowly getting painted with a neon color-shift scheme. It's brought me a lot of joy, just like this channel. Check's in the mail, mates: I hope by the time you see this, there's been a wave of Patreon signups, and the future looks a little less grim. Or, more grim, but in a cool, nasty, in-the-future-there-is-only-war kinda way.
Thankyou for sharing your story - I am glad you found us, and I am proud we've brought you many hours of entertainment! (And sneakily helped convince you into the hobby) - We made this video to make our position known, hopefully we can set a clear course going forward!
I must say the videos that I always enjoyed were the custom mini paints, especially the eldar army video. I loved hearing your personal thoughts on the history you guys have with 40k and tabletop stuff. The stories you guys weave into your videos have kept me intrigued for many years. I love this channel and hope you guys get through these tough times!
"What is the strongest weapon of mankind? The god-machines of the Adeptus Mechanicus? No! The Astartes Legions? No! The tank? The lasgun? The fist? Not at all! Courage and courage alone stands above them all!" - Lord Solar Macharius. May the emperor guide your journey!
I like how, every time a channel I subbed to doesn't show up on my recommended but when they make a "I might quit" video, youtube recommends it to me like crazy.
Thank you guys so much for all you do. Jenn, your painting is inspiring, especially your journey with non metallic metal😊. Always great to see another woman in the hobby. Murray, I love your goofy enthusiasm. I use the "Murray Method" all the time for painting. Dave, your painting ability is unreal. I also love your constant creativity with conversions and designing your own 3D bits. The best part of the channel is that you are all clearly friends having a good time. I'm happy to be one of your patrons on patreon and will keep supporting you!
Thankyou for your kind words for each of us and your support! We will endeavour to keep being all of those things - But nomatter what, we will always be friends having a good time, even if theres no cameras
You guys are amazing and I'm extreamly grateful for all that you do to produce these videos. Any time I've been in a hobby rut, your videos have been the thing that spur inspiration in me. And having that I finally have a group who I can regularly play, build, paint and chat hobby things with. I hope you guys can continue to sustain this channel and will continue to support and wish you all the best. Thank you for everything you've done thus far and will do in the future!
You guys are awesome, and you’re totally the people that I recommend first to anyone that wants to get into painting and especially kitbashing. The youtube interaction economy sucks but I hope for you all that there’s nowhere to go but up. Thank you for three years of amazing content.
This makes me sad. This is such a quality channel. I'm massively behind on all of them, as someone else said, life got in the way (two little ones etc.) I'm on maternity leave now so I'll make more of an effort to engage in hopes it helps. You all gave me an insight to the world of minis which I hadn't encountered before. Sending good vibes to you all, I hope you're all able to decompress, somewhat.
I took up the hobby of minipainting because of you and your channel, and am now rewatching all your content to get better at it 😅. Thank you for the work you have been putting into the channel. I wish you a speedy recovery ❤🩹
Awe no, I love your content. I really hope you guys pull through. I have been following you guys since I discovered the channel last year and it was your channel that really gave me the push and the inspiration to get back into to collecting warhammer 40k and AoS. Now with my daughter who paints her own death guard. The content you make is of the highest quality and your titan table project was next level. I really hope you can pull through as you bring so much joy and happiness. I will definitely sign up the patreon.
So good to see their Patreon gaining new members. It never hurts to tell people the situation. Seeing the content you guys continually provide, I’m sure many of us just assumed you guys were doing fine on YT. And we would hate to see you guys disappear again, so we’re rallying support. Keep up the good work, we love your passion and friendship. And let’s be honest, there ain’t that many of us Aussies on here so we have to band together!
Hope Tabletop Time can get through this. You guys are awesome and it has always been good to watch your videos whilst digging into one of my own Imperial Guard/Knight projects. Hope you can all hold it together, hope better times are on the horizon for TTT.
I'm here for the long haul, same as i've always been. I'd been eyeing at least a mug or two, mebbe a shirt. I guess its time to actually hit that checkout button. But really, you guys have made a huge difference in this hobby space, like.........i don't really think you'll ever understand how much of a difference. Thank you so much for the memories and the library of videos and if, god forbid, it doesn't work out please at least make sure we know where to follow the lot of you personally
Thankyou for saying so - It means a lot to hear we make an impact - Dont worry, if its goodbye eventually, there will be another, probably more teary video.
This is one of my all time favourite channels. Your consistency, quality and transparency is some of the best on youtube. I get so much out of your content, and it would be awful to see you go. Good luck, guys. Will try to support as much as I can.
Really sorry to hear things are hard. You're not wrong, things are hard. The algo sucks, but that doesn't reflect how amazing you folk are. Have loved tuning in, and will keep looking for you for as long as you keep making things.
You guys are genuinely one of my favorite RUclips channels. I have spent hundreds of hobby hours watching your stuff and they plan to keep doing so as much as I can. Wishing the best.
Honestly, the Space Bears is what made me sub to the channel. It had occasional good content for my personal liking, but the thing that made it stand out so much more was that not only you created a faction, but also created that Kill Team board and so much more to keep it alive. Why not try that again? Create a custom chapter/warband/faction of whatever, make a board for it, get us excited and get us to buy 3d printed parts to recreate our own?
We have been trying - Jenns Sisters, Daves Traitor Guard, Daves Sakura, Murrays Steel Legion - But Space Bears was lightning in a bottle - nothing has connected as deeply or successfully as them! We will keep making videos on all of them though, for as long as we can! - Dave
@@MartinPittBradley I'm not really into the Chaos or Nurgle stuff.........That being said............ Chaos Space Bears would be pretty damn cool. I 2nd the motion !!!
@@TabletopTime perhaps a guard unit from the same Planet the Space Bears are from? As a supporting unit for 40K, but also for a Kill Team with the Veteran Guardsmen rules
I genuinely hope the channel is doing better. I on occasion go and watch a few of your older videos too (and i’ll probably do that a bit more hoping it will help). I may not like every video you guys make but when it is a video i like it really like it
Damn, that sucks, you guys are one of the best channels out there! I always end up inspire when watching your videos and it moves me to make more progress on my own projects! Hope you guys are able to pull through and stick around!
Oh dear guys! I was not prepared a month ago to watch the video, because of my own struggles. You, the Table Top Time Team, are a part of Jazza as well as Jazza is a part of you! Without you where will I see amazing minature crazyness on the internet?!? As soon as my finanical are in line, I will definetly be a part of the patrons. I want to support you from the bottom of my heart! Stay patient and keep up making your videos!
Sorry to see this happen to you guys - this is genuinely one of the most wholesome miniature gaming yt studios on here. Shame on RUclips for not doing more to help their content creators. Much love, and good luck!
I did really love your more project oriented videos, whether that was your videos kitbashing and building your own custom armies or the big terrain boards like the imperial plaza. It felt like that journey really helped me engage, and as you said sometimes you would publish 2 videos a week that wouldn’t really grab me and that was kinda that. I wish you guys the best, here’s hoping for a good future for you guys
honestly I can't say I am surprised this video has come about, a lot of content creators for the miniatures hobby have been hurting this year especially with algorythm changes that hurt people and none of us (outside of the traditional media platforms who have presence on here) have access to information on how to get seen by those alorythms. on a creative front i have noticed how youtube throws hard nerfs on the reach of creative content that involves making things
do you know why the algorythm not in favor of "thing-makers"? I would think that hobbyist as a "viewer-group" (in lack of a better term) had pretty strong purchase-power and as such would be interesting for YT to reach with targeted ads, collection of preference data, etc? but maybe I'm wrong about my assumptions about the hobbyist or is something else at work?
You will get through this! Been a patreon for quite a while and I am a huge believer in this channel. You guys are all insanely talented and entertaining. Love you all ❤
I love the videos the team has created over the years since the rebirth of TTT. I never miss a release if I can help it and hope the fun and creativity can continue for as long as possible. Cheers from the US to my down under friends and I wish you all the best.
I think you can bring recurring viewers to the channel by doing weekly kickstarter updates. They can be as simple as showing some of the 3d modelling in real time. If you can create a base of customers for a product you can leverage those customers into checking out the chennel.
I really love your content and hope that with enough support from the community you all can keep the lights on and live on a good wage doing it. You three show so diverse and interesting approaches to hobbying throughout all systems and aspects, that I really hope we can enjoy your entertainment and creativity for years to come
Love Table top time, Was so Excited and was here Day 1 at launch. I didnt expect the channel to be as Warhammer focused as it became. I love the video when you guys create awesome miniatures and use that as a vessel to tell stories. Such as your rp videos. I personally get less interested in 40k lore videos lol. So i usually tune in to the videos that i think are more suited to me. That to say i do enjoy your guys content and definitely dont want to see you go! I’m definitely excited to see your painting videos and content focused around gatecrash. Dont give up, even Jazza’s channels has had its ups and downs. And sometimes we have to go through the downs to rlly enjoy the ups. Cheers!
Wish you all the best. I can affirm what others are saying and that i missed a few videos, not even on purpose, and my feed just no longer shows you all. You all make great things and I hope thst things work out. For people watching this, the best thing you can do for people you follow is to switch to the "subscriptions" tab on RUclips instead of the algorithm feed so it shows you videos from people you actually subscribed to in the order they came out.
Yep! Its hurt us - But hopefully this video will give us at least another opportunity to win back some eyes next week - I am exploring a very...very bad tank from the Horus Heresy
Thats so sad. Keep your heads up! You got this! I've always enjoyed the grounded attitude of you all and your content is great and consistent. Best of luck guys
I enjoy everything this channel puts out, even if you guys are working on an army I may never actually play, it is fun seeing everyone create unique armies or miniatures. Part of why I love playing warhammer is seeing everyones creativity put into their army!
You guys are actually the first yt channel i watched, when i got back into the hobby after 15 years, and i felt the enjoyment you guys have for the same stuff that we all do. I hope that you can continue your journey with this channel!
I’ve been with you guys in each video since Jazza’s first attempt at painting a space bear, it’s been a joy to see you guys grow and try new projects, I’ve loved watching you build your own armies and custom forces, and I am hoping you guys can claw it back with how shitty RUclips has been with the algorithm! I’m going to immediately binge-watch everything to try to give you guys what little support I can from over here, but your work has been a massive relief for me through these years, and a good inspiration for my own work!
We appreciate it, we will keep trying! Just watching our once weekly uploads from here on would be a huge help (If you're enjoying it! We arent forcing anyone)
Been here since the Blood Brothers campaign, I fucking love the channel and your guys content. Praying this channel doesn’t eventually disappear because it’s genuinely one of the best dnd/craft channels around.
I'm sure I'll be lost in the tsunami of comments for sure. But as a veiwer the things that have drawn me in is the kitbashing, custom armies, and terrain/board builds. The space bears, Sakura Tau, The Sisters of Martyred lady, and the iron legion. Every board build video ive watched numerous times! I love them! You guys are all wonderfully talented. And make amazing content. Now to be brutally honest. The patreon teirs, arent as affordable to everyone especially with the amout of creators asking for that kind of support. $5 isnt very much at all, but viewers are subcribed to 10, 20, 30, 40 channels of the same nature. And that quickly becomes unsustainable for your supportes. You guys have nearly 270,000 subscribers, if had a $1 or $2 tier you may have a huge boost in supporters. Thats a major reason i havent been able to support is i dont have the finances to do so on a full scale.
Fellow Aussie here 🙂 I really enjoyed your videos that showcased your personal armies, and your thoughts and experiences, it was the kind of content that you don’t find elsewhere. I’m mainly a 40K fan, so I enjoyed that content too, but not so much the random indie tabletop games (I’m old, and set in my ways). Tabletop time is one of my favourite channels, and I hope things get better for you guys.
I’m subscribed and have all notifications turned on. This is the first video I recall seeing from you all since the Space Bears videos. Algorithm is crazy. Wish you all the best!
My dad always told me it’s okay to chase your dreams and ideas in life but you have to have some way to pay bills , feed and cloth you and in most cases you have to chase dreams while doing something else. my suggestion is to not only do tabletop but also expand into other areas of hobby. Gundam kits, monster kits, dioramas, etc. obviously still come back to warhammer and that. I watch you guys cause your videos are great and informative. And even use them into the background while I hobby and paint.
I just did my last convention as a vending artist. Thank you for your transparency; when your idols are real, it helps us know it’s not just “us” that fails, it’s the whole reality of the world. It’s validating that we all struggle cause it’s so easy to forget and think the grass is greener. I hope yall have MANY MANY more years of content to share and we’re all rooting for you 💕
Ooooh, I am so sorry guys, that really sucks! I am definitely guilty of not watching every video, but it still gave me so much joy to know you were there and when I was in the mood I binged a lot! Wishing you all the best and I will do better in terms of views! ❤
Thankyou for your views and words - Its not your fault youtube is so brutal to channels that you dont binge every episode of! We will keep trying - Dave
It is genuinely sad to see that times are hard for you guys. You do make great content and your collective enthusiasm makes your videos enjoyable and it is what drew me in. You are clearly just people who love what you do. I am sure you can weather the storm and I am sure the community has got your back.
I'm one of the group who'd never heard of Jazza and just found the channel as a provider of hobby content I love. It's such a slick, professional operation that it genuinely never occurred to me that I should be on the patreon if I want it to keep going. Well, that's rectified now. Hopefully in time it can find some kind of stability. It really is something special - providing cool, interesting hobby project content, not spilling into clickbait. Always worth the watch even if I don't think I'll be interested at first.
Thankyou so much - It is so easy to assume its a company, its a logo, its not run out of a garage - so its going to be fine without stressing or checking that patreon! But I guess now our skeletons are out of the closet!
Hey all, only recently discovered you guys and I really enjoy the content. The coffee skits have me crying with laughter! Just joined your patreon. We cannot let an Aussie channel go the way of so many of natural fauna have.
I have been a casual viewer of Table Top Time for a couple of years. Not into everything that you do, but I am interested in some things, and have enjoyed the videos that I watched. I have generally watched your videos after looking for something specific, and having a video related to that pop up. You are always entertaining, and have great production values. Good luck with the future.
This comment is mostly because I know it helps with the algorithm. It's engagement on a video and telling the machine that people needs to see this video and this channel. I haven't been following you for long and I don't watch all your videos. But I can recognize and appreciate the passion you're putting in it. And it deserves to be rewarded. This platform isn't the best at rewarding passion and genuineness (too many small - or smaller - channels not gaining tractions when big channels are instantly trending with... well, let's just say it's not my taste!). So, yeah, my view, my like and this comment are the best I can do right now. I'll try to watch as much videos as I can because I think a channel like yours deserves to work well

After just watching it, Im now watching it again, and at the slowest speed. Thx for the tip!!
RUclips premium viewers count extra! haha

It's hard to see so many creators I really enjoy struggling with the RUclips algorithm. I wish you all the best!
Times are tough! Thankyou for your support! - Dave
@@clinch4402 It's a tough pill to swallow that there is no bad boogie man algorithm. It's just people choosing or not to watch a video.
Oh… please don’t fade away guys! You were the youtubers who led me on to the Warhammer community on RUclips
We will try out best!
@@cinderheart2720 plus with the current scandals we all know youtube only pushes the p3dos
hate to say it but if youtube will screw over channels by not supporting channels appropriately with paying them for ads then screw youtube run ad blockers, before covid you only needed 5000 subs and a active 500 views to be paid but now you need 10,000 subs and over 5000 views in the first hour to get paid, ive looked into what it takes and its a pain, i remember when youtube used to be able to support people who were going through hard times and needed to open youtube channels to help make money, I guess those days are over.
Best of luck with it all and hope you guys manage to continue on
Thankyou! The Aussies are dwindling, and Zorpazorp jumped ship to NZ!!!

I hope you guys stick around, in whatever form that takes!
Hope it gets better for you soon as well mate
Thankyou for sharing the journey with us - Dave
I love tabletop time and everything you do.
I hope you can find a way to save the channel, and even if it doesn't work out and it all has to end, you have already given so much to the community and made so many incredible things that will be here forever.
Good luck, and thanks for all the videos.
Hearing we made an impact is pretty special honestly, thanks!
Hope you guys can pull through this rough time. Your content is and has always been top quality. Fingers crossed that this move helps you guys grow to a point where you can return full time.
I’m sorry you’re in such a sad situation. Best of luck to you all.

There's got to be an algorithm problem because I'm subbed and honestly this is the first video I can ever remember popping up into my recommended.
youtube loves to promote these downers, channels dying, people getting cancer. it gets lot of support comments always, which youtube loves so much.

That makes everything worth it. Thankyou so much for your kind words, and its an honour to have been able to help you in such a way - Dave

You three are the reason i got into this hobby. Just wanted to show my support and let you know, you are so inspirational.

The kind words and comments mean a lot, thankyou - Dave

It has been extremely difficult for sure, youtube does seem to be actively working against us
do you know why the algorythm not in favor of "thing-makers"? I would think that hobbyist as a "viewer-group" (in lack of a better term) had pretty strong purchase-power and as such would be interesting for YT to reach with targeted ads, collection of preference data, etc? but maybe I'm wrong about my assumptions about the hobbyist or is something else at work?
Oh damn, I love Tabletop Time! I always make sure to watch your videos weekly. You’ve taught us all so much about the hobby!
You will get through this! Been a patreon for quite a while and I am a huge believer in this channel. You guys are all insanely talented and entertaining. Love you all ❤
You're a real champ mate, thankyou for all the support over the time!
I love the videos the team has created over the years since the rebirth of TTT. I never miss a release if I can help it and hope the fun and creativity can continue for as long as possible. Cheers from the US to my down under friends and I wish you all the best.
🥳🫂👍🏿
Dave, Jen, Murray, Vaughn and behind the scenes folks: I love what you do and want you to be able to keep doing it ❤
I just found your videos and I am stunned about the love that flies In the painting and building!!
Genuinely one of the best tabletop channels on youtube so I hope things get better.
Thankyou for your comment
I think you can bring recurring viewers to the channel by doing weekly kickstarter updates. They can be as simple as showing some of the 3d modelling in real time. If you can create a base of customers for a product you can leverage those customers into checking out the chennel.
I really love your content and hope that with enough support from the community you all can keep the lights on and live on a good wage doing it. You three show so diverse and interesting approaches to hobbying throughout all systems and aspects, that I really hope we can enjoy your entertainment and creativity for years to come
We do too! Hopefully the dark before the dawn! Thankyou - Dave
Cheers!
Really sorry to hear things are difficult. Hope you guys are able to keep going. I have thoroughly enjoyed a load of your content.
Thankyou for your words
Wish you all the best. I can affirm what others are saying and that i missed a few videos, not even on purpose, and my feed just no longer shows you all.
You all make great things and I hope thst things work out.
For people watching this, the best thing you can do for people you follow is to switch to the "subscriptions" tab on RUclips instead of the algorithm feed so it shows you videos from people you actually subscribed to in the order they came out.
Yep! Its hurt us - But hopefully this video will give us at least another opportunity to win back some eyes next week - I am exploring a very...very bad tank from the Horus Heresy
Thanks!
Thankyou so much
Thats so sad.
Oh no, I'm sorry but actually shocked
I think many people will be
What?!
Me too! TTT is the best!
@@TabletopTime I will be! Good luck y’all’s, I’ll be here as long as you are. 😄
We are going to look into that on Monday - Thankyou for your feedback, comment and viewership!
@@TabletopTime I hope to see you all stick around and flourish.
Thankyou for the feedback, hopefully we can make some great stuff still to come
I’m subscribed and have all notifications turned on. This is the first video I recall seeing from you all since the Space Bears videos. Algorithm is crazy. Wish you all the best!
We hear similar from many - Its tough - Hopefully 1 more focused hobby video a week will keep people coming back without missing episodes
Really enjoy your work. ❤
Thankyou so much for helping out the channel
My dad always told me it’s okay to chase your dreams and ideas in life but you have to have some way to pay bills
, feed and cloth you and in most cases you have to chase dreams while doing something else. my suggestion is to not only do tabletop but also expand into other areas of hobby.
I hope yall have MANY MANY more years of content to share and we’re all rooting for you 💕
Its a really hard environment right now to be any sort of creative
I am sure you can weather the storm and I am sure the community has got your back.
love you guys, respectfully. Gonna keep helping when I can
I'm one of the group who'd never heard of Jazza and just found the channel as a provider of hobby content I love.
We are a rare breed the aussie hobby youtuber!
This one kinda hurts...y'all have been a huge influence in my hobby journey
