simply one of the very best outdoor Fn3 layouts I've seen. I have many RR things going on, including 1500' of 7 1/2" gauge RR. Also have 200' of Fn3 on elevated outdoor table. Would love to create something like your superb layout. thanks for the inspiration. One of the best things humans share.
Hello what is your secret for a such smoke plume ! the weather or the coal, because I have the same one and never had a such like you congretulation , very hight level for your layout
I loved 473, but I'm puzzled by "fired by San Juan cars". It sounds like Porto Rican autos were ground up and used for fuel. Well, what the hell, we should've sold it back to Spain, for ten bucks, years ago.

Great video, I'm just starting with a Rio Grande C21 gas fired loco. Is the boiler an Accucraft or a custom built one. Thanks for posting.
Hi, thanks the boiler isAccucraft / Maxitrak
Thanks for that,
How would you compere its pulling power to that of a electric counterpart?
More traction than electric, electric is more likely to hit the skid limit.
Live steam version is heavier.
What cars are those? I love that style passenger car, and all my G Scale stuff is in D&RGW!
These are the Accucraft's San Juan Cars in Brass.
Best regards
love it!!! the coal burning is so nice,,,,,,
