damn this is so impressive and it also feels like this run is already super optimized. The fern room skip in Victory road was insane. How long did it take to come up with the strategies for the e19 content? If i remember correctly its still pretty much the Same Team compared to the e18 run :D
2 months routing and 1 month practice. too busy nowadays to try to run this again to improve it, but if this gets in to any marathon i submit to then will pick it back up again.

@@maomaeramnon3870 What does It exactly do to cheese field effects? I ran male Meowstic as a reliable physical and special barrier setuper and it works fine. It's not really a stellar mon, but it's pretty good for earlygame and midgame.
I played two runs one the first I used zard and the second I used blaziken. And I found blaziken more useful but zard was extremely good for me in the elite four. Spamming rock slide using charizard x on the second elite four and destroyed the last elite four member and did amazing on lins first battle and the last one (Zard swept her team all I used was roost, flame charge, dragon claw, flare blitz (bait her garchomp to use earthquake and switch into zard and don’t mega and use flame charge twice and she’ll switch and then mega and sweep her team) and for the last I did the same thing but its however you would wanna play zard

Time starts on "New Game" and ends at credits. The internal built in speed-up function is allowed. The only password allowed is the "speedrun" password. All other passwords are banned. No external tools which modify the functionality of the game are allowed. ^ rules for the main category according to speedrun.com, but you can play however you want. you can add extra passwords or not enable speedup to make the game easier to play, just be sure to mention that in your speedrun (though it would probably be a different category). read the faq more details.
Gotcha, thanks. I feel like most of the speedrun passwords make a lot of sense, but that locking into monopsychic for example would make some different routes/strategies just outright impossible. But having a category specifically for "speedrun password" runs makes total sense
@@LNRDi the reason monopsychic password is in the pack is to guarantee espurr to appear in peridot ward. it's a 50/50 chance between it and mincinno, so it saves time on resets for each run. that being said if you opt to use another monopassword, i can convince the person who made the rules for the main category to ammend it to also include passwords from different monos since it would not be fair if it was just monopsychic, however meowstic is the one that i found to be the most consistent out of all of the mons from the monopasswords. just make sure you have a route/run to show for it.
i haven't tried it yet but looks promising. can you give me more information about the speedup issues? also all of the puzzles that are skipped with the password, thanks.
it now has the same issues as rejuv: speedup gets completely nullified if there are other windows open, and generally feels *significantly* less smooth even at high speedup multipliers - graphically it’s way choppier than 19.16 speedup - and it’s way harder to control overworld movement it also has random lagspikes in battle, especially when applying multiple boosts at once (e.g. ddance)
@@elrichardo1337 i've tried it myself and the all the things you mentioned don't apply to me, perhaps its your hardware that you're running the game on? the speedup goes to x10 though which is too fast for me long term for a speedrun but i manage at x5.
hmm perhaps I haven’t gotten around to checking which additional puzzles nopuzzles skips but it should be the *vast* majority of them: everything in the NG++ mod is now in base game NG+, and nopuzzles additionally skips stuff like glass factory puzzle
i was planning on waiting until the game updates but that might take a while. i'm still optimizing the route, will probably be a while before i do actual attempts.

M!Meowstic is easily one of the best Pokemon in the game considering how early you can get it, alongside Blaziken

Can you do one for Pokemon fire ash? It almost as long as reborn but the puzzle are much much much easier
with the new release of 19.5 how low do you think you could push this time now? (provided the new engine speedup performance issues get fixed)
