Well, it sounds like you took it out of the box and didn't put it down for 20 years, sleeping, eating and taking a shower with it, and then did that show.
Sounds fantastic and you didn't seem to be struggling at all to ring a really decent sound out of it - straight out of the box - incredible man. Thanks for an awesome upload, Paul in the UK.
I also enjoy an expensive guitars. Not to mention, you’re playing is outstanding! I mean that sincerely. I have been playing for nearly 45 years. Great job, and keep it up!
The crowd doesn't know, or care-it's the cork sniffers in the band that are the issue. As long as it sounds good, and plays/STAYS in tune, that's ALL that matters. The only exception to this I can think of is heat-outdoors in the summer, or big stages with followspots that will make the neck flex, and this isn't limited to cheap guitars, either-ask Steve Morse about the Frankentele. There is a video here on YT of a SMB show from 1990 (with Jerry Peek on bass) with him fighting to keep it in tune because of the heat from the lights. I ALWAYS bring a cheesy import Strat to an audition, with a "real" (US made) Strat that doesn't come out of the case as a "spare". How they act about the crappy guitar (which I prefer anyway) depends on whether or not I take the gig. MANY fail, usually with someone telling me that they have 5 or 6 2500 dollar instruments. And it's usually the player in the band that sucks the most. I personally enjoy watching someone play the snot out of a POS guitar-it's LIBERATING.
U guys got a good sound and it's wild just how good cheap guitars are so good these days and the name brands gets less quality every year and the price is out of reach for a lot people
Man that would be cool! I don’t feel like i deserve anything like that yet as I feel like I still have to earn it. There’s so many players out there that are more deserving. Thank you for saying that!
At one time, I would not have believed that you could take a fresh-bought guitar right onstage without a setup. Now, having seen this video and after my own experiences with a couple of guitars I bought new, I see that it's possible. My 2 Donners are real killers that were worth playing on arrival. Could they play better with a setup? For sure! But some cheap guitars you can rock on arrival!💯‼️🤘😎
Awesome playing- you have a great touch! I mentioned sharp fret ends on my exact same Fesley in the previous video comments. I’ve since filed them down and it’s much more comfortable. Also painted the pickup covers black so it looks slicker too. Now I just need to improve my playing 100x to keep up with you. 😂
Man, you got lucky on that deal! The Fesley actually sounds really good. Nice crunch, and the intonation actually seems to be right on! Seems you got one of the 10% that they spent a little extra time on, because they're definitely not ALL like that! Pretty nice little axe Trey!😄🎵🎶👍👍 (Great job shredding the blues, btw!)
Great jam Trey! Fesley seems to be making great cheap guitars; and if I didnt already have a Strat and several Super Strats, I would jump on that really quick! Although, I DO plan to snag a Fesley FLP350 as soon as they become available again! Been waiting for a good lightweight LP copy! Btw, cool seeing you jam with Sean on his channel also! 😁🤘🎸
Yep. I bought a Glarry five string Jazz Bass as an experiment. Wondered what it would be for $77 landed. It’s gig worthy, if not sleek. I haven’t gigged it yet, but I certainly could
That playing is great man, let’s get that out of the way now. No two ways about that. That drummer is legit as fuck too. Listening on an iPhone so I can’t really speak about what I can’t hear or feel. That drummer and your playing were top shelf though
@@TreyShreddings I know what you mean, I’m a gigging drummer and have been pretty much all of my life. I value all the talented people I’ve managed to play with. They’re all one of a kind!
@@TreyShreddingsAfter Sean upgraded & set up the Fojill, that one should be a slam dunk for live & even studio performances. I think if the Fesley wasn't cutting it, a fail, it would've been unplugged and swapped before it ruined your night & band's reputation. Being Tortuga's in Flagler Beach, FL, the Fesl;ey passes the beach & outdoor live performance test for "one night, one show", long term update(s) would be cool to see.
Honestly, wtf is the point of expensive high end shyt if you can do this with a $150 Amazon guitar? Seriously wtf is even the point of any of this RUclips guitar gear community? That thing sounded perfectly fine. He sounded and play like any other talented musician out there playing gigs. I’m not trying to diminish his skills or anything when I say that. Bro is a great player but that sounded professional it didn’t sound like the crappy sears roebuck guitars like it’s supposed to. That was legit sounding. To me a budget guitar was a MIM Strat but those are like 4x what that measly fesley was. Fuck it I’m just putting my money into amps and effects from now on. 😂😂😂
Ugh, the tonewood on that Fesley is just making everything sound just awful. Holy cow, I can't even listen. JK man, it sounds great. It just proves that any guitar can sound great in the hands of an expert, and any guitar can sound like trash in my hands. lol
Trey, don't be mad....but I contacted Fesley and showed them your video and told them they would do well to sponsor you and artists like you willing to show the world what Fesley's can do straight out of the box. They wrote me back...I will send you a copy if you get me a contact email. 🤩
Aw, now it's on!
Bring it! Haha 😆
You should collab with Rick Beato.
@@mannpeach5894 I would absolutely love to. Not sure how to make that happen!
Dude. Your playing really stands out from a sea of guitar players! Just Killer🤘
Wow, thanks! Appreciate you watching!
Close your eyes and pretend you are just hearing this and know nothing of the video. NO WAY you can guess the price of that axe. Amazing
Well, it sounds like you took it out of the box and didn't put it down for 20 years, sleeping, eating and taking a shower with it, and then did that show.
Burnin it up Trey. Fesley is the shit brother. Thanks.

His board is superb. I've gotten to play through it with my guitar and the sounds you get are stellar

Answer: Yes! Yes you can! 🤘🏻🎸🔊🎶❤️🔥
I love the look of that guitar with the heavy sunburst with white pickups, maple board. I wish us lefty’s were as lucky.
It is a Suite look. I’m pretty sure Fesley makes left-handed. I could be wrong.
Simply amazing, great playing.

Oh wow! They are $150 shipped to my door here in Florida. Thanks for watching!
Sounds awesome. The guitar strikes me as an Ibanez looking thing and thats cool too.
that tone you used on "have a cigar" was an upgrade

Thanks Emmett!
I think you could make any guitar sound great
How were the fret ends? Thats about the only complaint ive heard about Fesley. Easily fixable in ten mins tops, but im curious, how was yours?
The fret ends were actually perfect. No issues with sharpness or anything!
That’s a tight drummer too, Trey! Btw my son’s name is Trey!
